• Five Virginia delegates have partnered with Planned Parenthood to support and encourage abortion.
  • With looming budget cuts from government funding, Planned Parenthood is fighting back and claiming these cuts will cause low-income women to suffer.

Planned Parenthood Advocates of Virginia announced last week via social media that its PAC is partnering with five Democratic House Delegates in Virginia to launch the “Bros for Repro” campaign, which supports women who want to get abortions. According to the Instagram post, all five of these men—Nadarius Clark, Joshua Cole, Mike Feggans, Phil Hernandez, and Josh Thomas—will be working with Planned Parenthood to “host Instagram Lives, phonebanks, canvass launches, and community events to mobilize supporters ahead of the fall election.” The campaign will largely focus on advancing a Virginia constitutional amendment, which seeks to establish a “right” to abortion.

Long ago are the days of pro-abortion people claiming “no uterus, no opinion,” as Planned Parenthood actively promotes the opinions and political power from pro-abortion men. PPAVA even says that this campaign seeks to “amplify the voices of men who champion reproductive rights and bodily autonomy—not just as allies, but as active leaders in the movement” (emphasis added).

One of the delegates, Joshua Cole, said the following about his participation in the “Bros for Repro” campaign: “I would just ask that we speak up, we show up, and we relentlessly stand up for the dignity and the sacred choice of every soul, every person, and affirming that justice is holy, freedom is sacred and real love honors choice” (emphasis added).

There is extreme irony and perversion in Cole’s words, which should represent all human life but of course do not, as they completely neglect the soul, dignity, life, and sacredness of the preborn person. Even more ironically, an article published by LifeSiteNews last week reported that Cole is a pastor of a Christian congregation and has referred to himself as a “pro-choice pastor.”

With upcoming elections and the proposed constitutional amendment ahead, tension over abortion is heating up in the state of Virginia. STOPP asks our fellow Virginians to join us in respectfully writing these five men and to ask them to not only abandon ship with Planned Parenthood but to stand for the dignity, justice, and human rights for all people, which includes the preborn child.

Last week, Nicole Clegg, the head of Planned Parenthood of Northern New England, testified in Washington, DC, to oppose the federal Medicaid cuts to Planned Parenthood.

Clegg argued that the new law bans reimbursement for services that don’t include abortions, like cancer screenings and testing. However, it has been proven that these types of services are a very small fraction of what Planned Parenthood does. Not only that, but there are hundreds of other providers that offer services to low-income women that do not include abortion as part of their offerings.

The federal Medicaid cuts are set to be in effect for one calendar year, but several lawsuits have made the process more complicated.

American Life League has criticized these Medicaid cuts, as the Senate lowered the timeline from 10 years to just one. Furthermore, the law that was written to complement the Federal Hyde Amendment will still allow for Medicaid reimbursements in cases of rape, incest, or health of the mother.

Following the bill’s passing, Katie Brown Xavios, American Life League’s national director, issued the following statement in response to the legislative action:

This bill is not the full win it’s portrayed to be. As written, the House-approved “big, beautiful bill” will still fund Planned Parenthood for abortions in the cases of rape, incest, and the mother’s health. Give Planned Parenthood an inch, and it will take a mile. If the exceptions are the only way Planned Parenthood will get paid, you better believe that every abortion will now become a life-or-death situation so that Planned Parenthood ensures that it will get its money.

This exception clause will still allow for the murder of millions, and with a save-some-not-save-all mentality we will never see the total protection of preborn children. If they can justify the murder of one baby, they can justify the murder of many. As pro-life advocates, we must set the bar higher.

As we read in STOPP’s 2025 Report on Planned Parenthood CEO Compensation, Clegg makes an annual salary of $258,103 for her work as a Planned Parenthood CEO. This enormous salary, earned off the blood of dead babies, is just one more reason to oppose the abortion business.
