Week in Review – The self-managed abortions are about to become more common
The expansion of the abortion-by-mail industry in the United States is expected to begin in earnest this coming week. In the FDA’s latest status report submitted to the court in November, it said that their review of the Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategies (REMS) for the abortion pill would be complete by December 16, 2021—this coming Thursday
It is expected that the FDA, under pressure from Xavier Becerra, head of the Department of Health and Human Services, will acquiesce to the demands of the Biden administration and remove protections in the current law and allow the abortion pill to be prescribed using telehealth and mailed to any woman—even though the woman has had no in-person contact with any medical professional.
In anticipation of the FDA changes, a number of states have been implementing state laws restricting the mailing of abortion pills.
The Guttmacher Institute reported on December 1, 2021, that “19 states (Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, West Virginia, and Wisconsin) require the clinician providing a medication abortion to be physically present when the medication is administered, thereby prohibiting the use of telemedicine to prescribe medication (abortion pill) for abortion.”
NBC NEWS NOW reported in September 2021 about the signing of the restrictions on abortion pill abortions in Texas. It wrote, in part:
“The new bill, Senate Bill 4, prevents physicians or providers from giving out abortion-inducing drugs after seven weeks of pregnancy. Additionally, the charge for ‘intentionally, knowingly, or recklessly’ violating SB4 is a state jail felony, which carries fines of up to $10,000 and between 180 days and two years of imprisonment, per the Dallas Morning News.
“Texas state Sen. Eddie Lucio Jr. (D) in early August said that the bill was designed to protect pregnant people from complications of taking abortion-inducing drugs. ‘Doctors need to be present when patients receive these drugs, so the patient knows what to expect from normal side effects and what needs to be addressed quickly before it turns into a serious issue,’ Lucio said in his layout of the bill during a Senate committee hearing.”
We applaud the 19 states identified by the Guttmacher Institute for addressing this problem even before the FDA changes the rules. But that still leaves 31 states where the lives of preborn babies can be taken by anyone who is able to receive the abortion pill in the mail.
We encourage people living in every state to get with your elected officials and get laws in place preventing the wanton massacre of preborn children from spreading to houses on every block in your town.
The threat is real. Please pray and act now.

Pro-life Social Media – ‘OK, heretic’; Heretical Group Opposes God’s Preferred Pronoun
Another day ending in “y” means the pro-abortion-violence organization, Catholics for Choice, is tweeting crazy things.
???????????? BREAKING NEWS: God is not a man.
People of *all* genders are made in God's image.
— Catholics for Choice (@Catholic4Choice) December 9, 2021
Hardly “breaking news” since the Catechism clearly states in paragraph 370:
In no way is God in man’s image. He is neither man nor woman. God is pure spirit in which there is no place for the difference between the sexes. But the respective “perfections” of man and woman reflect something of the infinite perfection of God: those of a mother and those of a father and husband.
One must excuse a group of heretics for not having a copy of the Catechism of the Catholic Church handy. But C4C’s emphasis “of ‘all’ genders” suggests God is the author a spectrum of genders along with the male and female explicitly mentioned in the Creation story. But don’t mention Sacred Scripture because C4C has a beef with God’s Word, too.
Ummmm God didn’t write the Bible. Humans did.
Next question? https://t.co/NJQX9Wu8Rx
— Catholics for Choice (@Catholic4Choice) December 9, 2021
It’s not a stretch to assume an organization using “Catholic” in its title is identifying with the Church of the same name. That would be the Church whose founder was a Man, Who then gave humans authority to teach and spread the Good News.
Utter joke of an organization

We get it — you're atheists

Ok, heretic.

Why even be Catholic if you're going to reject basic tenants of the faith https://t.co/gAhgQtuE31
— Jordan Moorman (@jordanm_sfla) December 9, 2021
Is there any one tenet of the Catholic faith C4C does believe?
