Pro-Life This Week: September 23, 2022

Recently, Senator Lindsay Graham (R-SC) proposed a national law that would regulate abortion violence after 15 weeks of pregnancy. Judie Brown swiftly condemned this legislation as nothing more than a pro-abortion proposal.

The proposed bill comes just three months after Roe was overturned by the Supreme Court. The bill would regulate abortions after 15 weeks and include exceptions.

Not surprisingly, the bill has garnered support as a “pro-life” piece of legislation, but it could not be further from being “pro-life.” Graham is doing the abortion business’ work for them, by attempting to enshrine the death penalty for babies younger than 15 weeks (and in some cases, over 15 weeks) into the law of the land.

To call this law pro-life is a farce. It is pro-abortion and should be treated as such, as it carelessly tosses aside human beings. Judie Brown issued the following statement in response.

It never ceases to amaze us when elected officials choose to select which babies they will defend and which babies they will continue to condemn to death. There is absolutely nothing principled about the proposal Senator Lindsay Graham has set forth, and anyone who thinks he has done the babies a favor should look again!

Photo ops may be a good thing but not when innocent children are dying in the meantime.  Senator Graham is a sham, his bill is an outrage, and we urge elected officials who describe themselves as pro-life to BE pro-life or admit that they are in favor of some abortion instead of all abortion. Abortion kills! Stop condoning the killing!

We hope for a better Senator Lindsay Graham in the future, as we look for a man of integrity who will offer proposals that recognize the humanity of every preborn child from her creation forward. We ask Senator Graham, and all elected officials, to remember that every single person deserves equal protection under the law, whether born or preborn. Only then will our lawmakers reflect the founding principles upon which our nation was founded. And let us pray that we soon become one nation under God and that this includes both born and preborn.

As Judie stated, American Life League calls on Graham and his fellow lawmakers to make laws that are truly pro-life. That includes protecting all vulnerable human beings from creation to death.

We implore lawmakers to create more life-affirming resources for mothers and their babies. Killing is not the answer, Lindsay Graham.

The list contains over 100 media outlets, such as Fox News, The Federalist, Breitbart, and The Daily Caller, among others. Judie’s commentaries are each featured on the front page of ALL.org. Each commentary is also featured as a part of Judie’s recurring column on Renew America

Republicans on Capitol Hill, surrounded by a handful of pro-life influencers, announced a federal plan to ban the killing of preborn children, except those younger than 15 weeks of development. This discriminating proposal isn’t designed to save babies; it’s designed to save Republican seats. Church Militant invited Hugh Brown to explain why.

Another day ending in Y means child-killing supporters are creating science out of thin air. Failed Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams has a new idea about fetal heartbeats: They’re “manufactured.”

Abrams has her audience believing that some sound f/x engineer “designed” a fetal heartbeat and then delivered it to pro-life advocates so they could fool gullible people into thinking the preborn child has a beating heart. Because Abrams has no children, she has never experienced a prenatal ultrasound of her own. Does she really think that ultrasound techs push a button that plays a fake heartbeat sound to make mothers feel good about their babies? It’s an absurd claim that her audience does not challenge.

A baby’s dignity doesn’t come from a heartbeat; it comes from being a created in the Image and Likeness of God.

Where is this conspiracy to control women’s bodies? Has anyone dug up a long-lost memo?
