As the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops begins its semi-annual meeting in Baltimore today, American Life League is imploring the bishops to tackle the problem of pro-abortion Catholic politicians by making a definitive statement that such individuals should not be permitted to receive Holy Communion.
American Life League is extremely disappointed that many citizens of South Dakota made the tragic decision to reject the Women’s Health and Human Protection Act, a law that had the potential to protect innocent children and women from the scourge of abortion.
We are profoundly disappointed that the state of Missouri, with the passage of Amendment 2, will now allow the categorical destruction of innocent human beings through cloning and embryonic stem cell research.
As many in mainstream media continue to spin their tale of woe hysterically exaggerating what the South Dakota abortion ban will actually accomplish if the citizens of that state uphold it in Tuesday’s election, one is left wondering
“We cannot afford to ignore Missouri at this crucial hour,” said Judie Brown, president of American Life League. “Despite the plethora of political doublespeak surrounding this issue, the November 7 ballot proposal for Amendment 2, if approved, will lead Missourians deep into the culture of death.”
“Planned Parenthood’s latest strategy document demonstrates that the organization is in a defensive posture,” said David Bereit, executive director of American Life League.
“South Dakota abortion proponents have taken the low road in the fight over Referred Law 6 with repeated incidents of vandalism against pro-lifers,” said Phil Eddy, outreach coordinator for American Life League.
“The battle brewing over the abortion ban in South Dakota right now is truly a fight between life and death,” said Jim Sedlak, vice president of American Life League.
“Over the past 90 years Planned Parenthood has managed to kill millions of preborn children through abortion, push dangerous contraceptives on women and teens, and saturate our culture with sexual promiscuity,” said Jim Sedlak, vice president of American Life League.

Today, as the United States Supreme Court ushers in its new session, pro-lifers across the nation will take time to remember the victims of abortion by participating in American Life League’s Pro-life Memorial Day.
