Week in Review – Biden administration attacking preborn babies and good parents
This week, the Biden administration continued to act as a dictatorship in many areas, including taking away from states the right to control their own laws and depriving parents of the ability to protect their children from federal government-sanctioned programs.
In the first instance, Dictator Biden’s Department of Justice made it clear it wants to deny states the rights to have laws that protect the lives of human beings and ignore the United States Supreme Court. Biden’s DOJ filed a lawsuit demanding that Texas’ Heartbeat Law be blocked from saving the lives of preborn human beings. This, even though the United States Supreme Court had an opportunity to block the law before it went into effect and voted 5-4 NOT to block it. The DOJ found a friendly judge who issued an order to pause the enforcement of the law so Texas abortionists could resume their grizzly task. Unfortunately for Biden, his judge’s order was quickly brought to a federal appeals court that put the law back into effect.
As the nation awaits the Supreme Court’s hearings on another anti-abortion law from Mississippi, Biden has ordered his DOJ to file an amicus brief and insert itself into the case in support of the abortion business in the United States.
It is well known that one of the strategies being used by those who want to kill preborn children it to get to vulnerable children in schools and convince them, through indoctrination programs, to accept the killing of these babies as a “right.” In world history, every wannabe dictator always works first to get to the youth. If they can convince the youth, then they eventually win the battle —as the youth age, progress into the work force, and older people die.
This is why parents are very careful about what is taught to their children in the schools. Good parents always monitor what their children are being taught. When schools get heavily into social engineering, parents go to their school boards (most boards are elected positions) and demand changes. Two things happened this week that have made it perfectly clear that the current ruling political party in America wants to silence parents and secure the schools as training grounds for future abortion supporters.
First, in the governor’s race in Virginia, the Democratic candidate, Terry McAuliffe, said during a debate: “I’m not going to let parents come into schools and actually take books out and make their own decision. . . . I don’t think parents should be telling schools what they should teach.”
And, second, while this could be a statement by a rogue politician, this week, Biden’s attorney general, Merrick Garland, sent a carefully worded memorandum trying to discourage parents from holding their school boards accountable for what their children are being taught.
In the memorandum, Garland wrote that there has been “a disturbing spike in harassment, intimidation, and threats of violence against school administrators, board members, teachers, and staff who participate in the vital work of running our nation’s public schools.” He further said the FBI would work with US attorneys and federal, state, local, territorial, and tribal authorities in each district to develop strategies against the threats.
Garland said: “While spirited debate about policy matters is protected under our Constitution, that protection does not extend to threats of violence or efforts to intimidate individuals based on their views.”
While we never condone physical threats or acts of violence, we certainly believe that parents not only have the right, but also the duty, to peacefully confront the individual views of school board members. School board members, for the most part, are elected by parents and continue to serve at the pleasure of the parents. Any members who adopt programs or lessons that are harmful to the students and to society need to be replaced at the next election and they should be told exactly that.
If we are to return our nation to one that respects every human being’s life, from creation to death, we must have schools that clearly teach those values to our children.
ALL in the News – Marian Blue Wave Second Anniversary in the News; Program Gains Nearly 1,000 New Prayer Partners
Last week, Dwain Currier was interviewed by Catholic Militant concerning the second anniversary of ALL’s Marian Blue Wave program. Currier was interviewed via video chat about MBW’s origins and the specific goals for which it asks prayer partners to pray. The interview can be found here.
Due to the extensive media coverage of the Marian Blue Wave anniversary last week, nearly 1,000 new prayer partners have signed up to join the program. The number is growing daily. If you have not signed up yet, you may do so here.

Action Item of the Week – Daily suggestions on spreading the pro-life message—week 3
Continuing with our presentation of 31 Unique Ways to Celebrate Life This October!, we present the suggested activities for the upcoming week:
October 16: Celebrate the Feast of St. Gerard Majella
St. Gerard is the patron saint of motherhood and preborn children. Read a short bio of him with your family today and say some prayers for preborn babies.
October 17: Learn about our Blessed Mother
Teach young children about the relationship between our Blessed Mother and the ladybug with our free lesson entitled Ladybug Warriors.
October 18: Teach compassion
All little kids like bedtime stories. Read aloud the book Wonder—a beautiful story about a young boy with a facial deformity. As you read, use our free discussion guide to talk about the important themes with your kids.
October 19: Pro-Life Day of Silent Solidarity
The third Tuesday in October is traditionally a Pro-Life Day of Silent Solidarity. Give up your voice for a day to represent the 3,000 babies killed by abortion every day. This is a powerful witness to the babies, and it teaches kids self-control. Imagine not talking for a whole day! Younger kids can try this for a shorter period.
October 20: Teach kindness
Help your children see that having autism doesn’t stop people from doing amazing things. Watch Temple Grandin and then use our free movie discussion guide to discuss how we can all make people feel loved and cherished.
October 21: Teach about the development of the preborn baby
Begin our lesson Defend Life: The Beauty of the Developing Human Being to help middle schoolers learn about the development of preborn babies.
October 22: Celebrate the Feast of St. John Paul II
St. John Paul II was an amazing pontiff. We can learn so much from him! Search for some of his most famous quotes. Talk about them with your children. Have older children read excerpts from some of his writings, like Evangelium Vitae or his Letter to Women. Both documents contain incredible wisdom about building a culture of life.
Pro-life Social Media – America’s Enemy #2 against preborn children (behind Biden) took to Twitter to celebrate her meeting with Pope Francis.
It was a spiritual, personal and official honor to have an audience with His Holiness Pope Francis this morning. pic.twitter.com/nrWYyApnMQ

No surprise, Pelosi thought she could speak on behalf of Catholics in the US.
His Holiness’s leadership is a source of joy and hope for Catholics and for all people, challenging each of us to be good stewards of God’s creation, to act on climate, to embrace the refugee, the immigrant and the poor, and to recognize the dignity and divinity in everyone.

The refugee, the immigrant, the poor. Notice someone missing? The preborn have dignity, too.
Stop pretending your Catholic because you’re not. You can’t be Catholic and be ProAbortion. You are leading souls to hell.

Sadly, as a Roman Catholic, you aren't one. https://t.co/dTljgMdE0J

At least Pope Benedict knew enough to not release photos of your visit w/him. He knew you’d want people to think your abortion stance was acceptable to the Church. Pope Francis obviously doesn’t know how you roll, Nance. But we do. #babykillingmonster https://t.co/LpSkw2Guw8
