WSR: 2026-04-15

Last Monday, American Life League announced that Planned Parenthood Federation of America released its 2025 annual report, Care Continues, over the holy Easter weekend. As we do every year, STOPP analyzes and provides the main numbers and facts you should be aware of from PP’s own reporting.

Here are some of the main highlights from this year’s report:

  • Planned Parenthood reported that it murdered 434,450 preborn children through abortion in 2024. This is an 8.1% increase from the prior year and accounts for around 39% of all abortions nationally in 2023/2024.* It is unclear if the number of preborn babies killed includes death by abortion pills.
  • Only 8 of its 23 services saw a decline this year. These are breast exams/breast care, HPV vaccinations, pap tests, colonoscopies, emergency contraception kits, cryotherapy, miscarriage care, and “other,” which includes transgender services. Many of these services are what Planned Parenthood claims its patients most need; however, it appears from these numbers that Planned Parenthood’s patients are not seeking these services as much.
  • Planned Parenthood clients increased slightly from 2,080,000 to 2,090,00 in one year.
  • Though its adoption referrals were up in 2023/2024, for every 1 adoption referral it did, Planned Parenthood killed 143 babies through abortion.
  • From 2022/2023 to 2023/2024, telehealth services increased 125.6%.

Here is the financial breakdown from the report:

  • The financials recorded in this report reflect fiscal year 2024/2025. Within this fiscal year, Planned Parenthood earned a total income of $2.14 billion, a 5.78% increase from the previous year.
  • $832 million dollars of that total income came from your and my hard-earned tax dollars, which was a 5.2% increase. This amount was also the largest source of income for Planned Parenthood, with the next source of income coming from private donations at $728.2 million dollars.
  • Planned Parenthood has accumulated over $15 billion in government grants over the past 60 years. The grants have grown despite who was holding the presidential office.
  • This is the first time in Planned Parenthood’s history that it has recorded a loss of profits—to the tune of 29.3 million dollars.

Though it is worth noting that these financial numbers are prior to the temporary defunding of Planned Parenthood in 2025, it shows that Planned Parenthood was outrageously compensated in government grants for its growing abortion business in 2024/2025.

Another point to consider is just how much blood money Planned Parenthood earns through abortion. It has claimed for decades that abortion is only about 4% of its services, but Planned Parenthood’s financial numbers appear to show that abortion is its largest moneymaker.

The average cost of an abortion at Planned Parenthood is roughly $658. When you multiply that cost by the 434,450 preborn lives it took through abortion in 2023/2024, that’s a total of $285,868,100 in abortion. The organization reported business earnings of $350 million from its clients in its 2023/2024 report, which aligns with the reported abortion numbers in its current report. This means that abortion was around 81% of Planned Parenthood’s income from patients in 2023/2024.

This not only shows the downplaying of abortion as its largest “service” revenue but that it truly relies on the ability to commit abortions on preborn children to stay a wealthy business. This is sickening and evil. These reported numbers are likely just segments of the full story regarding how much abortion really fuels the belly of the beast.

With each passing year, STOPP is more determined than ever to fight Planned Parenthood and the evil it commits every day. These numbers are reminders of how serious our work is as pro-life Christians to defend the preborn from abortion. We can be angry, sad, and outraged by these numbers and the truth revealed about Planned Parenthood’s wicked ways. However, we must not give up hope or courage. Our Lord is ultimately the victor at the end of this fight between good and evil, and we will stand alongside Our Lord in this great battle and seek to do His will.

Please consider supporting our STOPP program with prayers and any support that you may be able to offer. We truly could not continue our work without God’s grace and His many blessings through supporters like you.

After nearly 10 years of court battles, the final charges against pro-life activist and undercover reporter David Daleiden have been dismissed. These charges came after Daleiden and his organization, the Center for Medical Progress, exposed the sale of aborted baby body parts within the abortion industry.

In 2015, CMP began releasing undercover video footage captured during its multi-year investigation into this gruesome trade. Daleiden and other undercover reporters posed as fetal tissue buyers while meeting with top players in the abortion industry, including Planned Parenthood executives. These recorded conversations showed abortion workers discussing the body parts they could produce and the compensation they wanted. These conversations were often lighthearted and casual, showing that the abortion industry is just as callous, bloodthirsty, and money hungry as pro-lifers have always claimed.

One PP employee discussed dissecting babies to sell individual body parts to different buyers in an “a-la-carte” method. Another detailed her strategy to avoid accidental partial-birth abortions, which involved ripping “a leg or two” off of a living baby so she could keep the rest of the child’s body intact. Others joked about the financial benefits, with one PPFA executive declaring, “I want a Lamborghini!” in exchange for baby body parts.

Despite the public backlash after the investigation was publicized, the abortion industry escaped relatively unscathed. The investigation led to two settlements, and Planned Parenthood was banned from Texas’ and Louisiana’s Medicaid programs, but the industry faced little else.

Instead, Daleiden, CMP, and its investigators were indicted on numerous charges. In California, Kamala Harris, then the state’s attorney general, prosecuted Daleiden for the undercover videos, a case that lasted more than nine years. On April 2, 2026, the final charge in this case was dismissed and it was fully expunged, freeing Daleiden and his colleagues from the nearly decade-long political witch hunt.

“After enduring 9 years of weaponized political prosecution, putting an end to the lawfare launched by Kamala Harris is a huge victory for my investigative reporting and for the public’s right to know the truth about Planned Parenthood’s sale of aborted baby body parts,” Daleiden tweeted in January 2025, after agreeing to the settlement deal that would end the case. “Now we all must get to work to protect families and infants from the criminal abortion-industrial complex.”

Amen.
