  • With Harris’ VP pick, a vote for this team is also a vote for Planned Parenthood.
  • Good news! A New England Planned Parenthood is facing financial trouble.
  • What can you do to stop our taxpayer money from funding Planned Parenthood? We explain.

No one should wonder about the power of Planned Parenthood in the Democratic Party. Not anymore.

In the face of electoral college needs in Pennsylvania and in Arizona, presidential candidate Kamala Harris bypassed the smart political picks in favor of Minnesota governor Tim Walz for her vice president. Walz is ultra-liberal and helped Black Lives Matter burn Minneapolis. This is both a strange and bad decision by Kamala.

While the question is why, the answer is easy: Planned Parenthood wanted it.

Within moments of the Walz nomination, Planned Parenthood released a statement extolling Governor Walz as one of the greatest proponents of abortion in America. Walz rivals former Virginia governor Northam in wanting abortion even after nine months or birth.

In addition, Walz accompanied Vice President Harris on the first ever visit to Planned Parenthood by a sitting vice president.

This much is clear: The Democratic party is not hiding its ties to Planned Parenthood; it’s promoting it. The question for us is: Will the killers win?

Planned Parenthood of Northern New England held a virtual press conference last week to plea for financial support after the abortion affiliate, which has abortion facilities in Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont, said it is confronting a projected $8.6 million deficit over the span of the next three years.

PPNNE’s CEO, Nicole Clegg, said that some of the reasons for these financial troubles are “rising costs, low reimbursement rates from insurers and more demand for free and discounted care.” However, Clegg claimed another reason for the deficit is that while the state of Vermont provides funding for “reproductive health services” to PPNNE, New Hampshire and Maine do not.

What does this statement tell us? We know just how much Planned Parenthood both relies and thrives on the exorbitant amount of money it receives from our tax dollars each year. The $2 billion dollar abortion organization gladly received nearly $700 million dollars from the government in the 2022/2023 fiscal year.

Something else worth noting is the following paragraph written in the local New Hampshire newspaper The Keene Sentinel:

In recent years, Republicans on New Hampshire’s Executive Council have repeatedly blocked funding for family planning and other reproductive health services from going to Planned Parenthood. The councilors opposing the funding have said they don’t want public money going to an organization that provides abortions, despite state audits showing the money at issue is not used for abortions.

This note of contention for the abortion affiliate is key for pro-lifers in our fight against abortion and Planned Parenthood. We must cut Planned Parenthood off from the money supply. We do this by making our voices heard by our elected officials regarding why the state and federal government should not fund an abortion organization. We also must vote for political candidates who are truly committed to protecting life and defunding Planned Parenthood for good. If PPNNE is begging for more money to grow and stay in its deadly operation, then the call for us to act is greater now than before.

If you want to do your part in ending government funding of Planned Parenthood, please read STOPP’s guide on the ways you can effectively help fight to defund the abortion giant.

Over the next few months, the US Congress will have to address government funding and the budget. Instead of kicking the can down the road and ignoring the realities, we must demand that Congress cut both wasteful and hateful spending. We can leave identifying the wasteful spending to others, but regarding hateful spending, both STOPP and supporters can lead the way: It is hateful spending that our federal government pays Planned Parenthood even a single penny. This goes against our lives and interests.

Remember that nearly $700,000,000 per year in domestic spending goes to Planned Parenthood (while millions more go out in foreign aid spending). This can and must be stopped.

We must defund Planned Parenthood.

Please take five minutes to dial the US Capitol switchboard at (202) 224-3121. Ask the operator for Speaker Mike Johnson’s office and leave a message plainly and respectfully: “Please defund Planned Parenthood. We don’t need to spend that money.” Leave your name and email address and say “thank you.”

If we all make this call, I promise it will make a big difference. I have been in a congressman’s office when his staff has said “We received 10 calls on this; what’s going on?”

A little push can start a big ball rolling!

Because so many of you asked for it, we have just created a new express email address so you can easily get in touch with us at STOPP. Over the past few months, we have found that people had questions, comments, and other information that they wanted to relay to us.

The email address will be monitored 24 HOUR A DAY. If you have any questions or tips for us, please send them to STOPP@all.org.

Momentum is building in the fight against Planned Parenthood. In the past three weeks alone we have had four different local pro-lifers contact us so we could begin a plan for working together.

Don’t hesitate to contact us about getting Planned Parenthood out of your town. We must keep building our army of informed citizens.

Planned Parenthood is an enemy of life, and we need to fight back. I hope to hear from you.
