Wills & Bequests

Make a Donation through a Bequest in Your Will/Estate Plan

We truly are honored by the incredible kindness and generosity of our caring donors who have included American Life League as an important part of their Planned Giving in order to continue their support for our mission and work after they have gone home to their eternal reward. This is their “legacy for life,” as they leave a lasting commitment to support our work of saving the lives of babies, the elderly, and the infirm or handicapped out of their deep respect for the sanctity of every human life. We are so grateful for donations that are made to American Life League through bequests in the wills or estate plans of our donors.

Please include American Life League in your will or estate plan with a bequest of cash, stocks, bonds, mutual funds, or real estate. You will need to provide the following information to your estate planner or attorney:

American Life League
P.O. Box 6170
Falmouth, VA 22403
540-659-4171 (main)
540-659-2586 (fax)

EIN: 52-1238301

A sample of bequest wording in your will to provide a gift to American Life League might look similar to the following:

“I hereby give, devise, and bequeath to American Life League, Inc., a nonprofit corporation with its principal offices in Falmouth, VA, and having a Federal Tax ID Number of  52-1238301, the sum of $_____________  from my total estate to be used for American Life League’s general use and purpose.”

Note that in the above wording, an exact dollar amount can be replaced with a percentage of your total estate. This wording to indicate a percentage might look similar to the following:

I hereby give, devise, and bequeath to American Life League, Inc., a nonprofit corporation with its principal offices in Falmouth, VA, and having a Federal Tax ID Number of  52-1238301, the percentage of my total estate equal to _______ percent, determined as of the date of my death, to be used for American Life League’s general use and purpose.”

Your gift to American Life League through a bequest in your will or through your estate plan is a beautiful way to support the sanctity of every human life and create your own lasting “legacy of life” by which you will be remembered.

Please make a lifesaving donation, and may God bless you for that!

 The Gospel of Life
St. John Paul II

“Even in the midst of difficulties and uncertainties, every person sincerely open to truth and goodness can, by the light of reason and the hidden action of grace, come to recognize in the natural law written in the heart (cf. Romans 2:14-15) the sacred value of human life from its very beginning until its end, and can affirm the right of every human being to have this primary good respected to the highest degree.”
