Finding Peace

Peace begins at home. But what happens when we willfully destroy the home and the people in it? As a society, we are in trouble, for there is a war being waged upon us. And if we don’t arm ourselves properly, we will lose this war. But the reality is that we will lose so much more than that.

Death with Dignity? According to Whom?

We are all created in the image and likeness of God. Because of His goodness, we are brought into the world. We are never to end a life, even because of a terminal disease. Many people and organizations will have us believe otherwise. They encourage us to die with “dignity” yet they don’t seem to truly understand the meaning of the word.

Rushing the Innocent to Die

The culture of death is increasingly prevalent in today’s society and around the world. It can be seen in the lack of respect and dignity shown for preborn babies, for the sick, and for the dying. But this need not be the case. For those who do not have voices, we must speak. For those who do have voices, we must augment them so they are heard. Life is precious. Life is a gift. It is not for us to take away from anyone.

Creating a Civilization of Love, Not Death

Unselfish love a true, Christlike love means always wanting what’s best for the other person and putting others before yourself. This love in no way includes the premature death of a living person. On this day of love and affection, let us not forget all that Christ has taught us. Let us not forget that He suffered and died for us. And let us allow our Christlike love to spill forth and cover our loved ones who are in pain rather than allowing our fears and misguided compassion to snuff out their lives.

Raw Emotions Make Bad Law

By Eric Metaxas
“I hope my father dies soon,” Scott Adams wrote recently on his blog. “And while I’m at it, I might want you to die a painful death too.”
