The disposable mentality of our society had permeated into all areas of life, and now we see that even the sick or terminally ill are thought of in this way. How have we become a society that just wants to get rid of those whom we find it difficult to care for?
What is covered with fur, lives either in the wild or in a zoo, and has no soul? If you answered that it’s the latest species to be protected over humans, then you would be correct! How is it that we have come to live in a world where animals are given more rights than human beings created in the image and likeness of God?
The icy fingers of selfishness and callousness have crept into the collective body of society and left its members chilled to the bone. We see hearts that have been hardened, minds that focus only on material wants and desires, and human beings slaughtered at will. How will we survive?

I dream of a time when America and Canada will be life-affirming nations under God.
We are all created in the image and likeness of God. Because of His goodness, we are brought into the world. We are never to end a life, even because of a terminal disease. Many people and organizations will have us believe otherwise. They encourage us to die with “dignity” yet they don’t seem to truly understand the meaning of the word.
Cherish life each and every life. No matter how small, no matter how sick. God holds us all in the palm of His hand and loves us more than we will ever know. He treats us with compassion and wants us to do the same to our fellow human beings. We must never forget this.
