In a New Undercover Video, Virginia Abortionist Admits Her Excitement in Killing Preborn Babies
This week, a pro-life activist group called Progressive Anti-Abortion Uprising released an undercover video of a Virginia abortionist bragging about killing preborn children through abortion. Three members of PAAU went undercover at the Virginia ReproRising Gala last month and encountered abortionist Jessica Rubino, the lead abortionist at a new abortion facility in McClean, Virginia. The undercover video features Rubino excitedly describing how “easy” and “fast” it is for her to commit abortions early on in pregnancy. Rubino shares that her abortion mill is looking to expand abortion from its current 15 weeks gestation to 18 weeks.
Rubino’s disturbing and diabolical admissions throughout the four-minute video show the complete dehumanization of the baby in the womb to justify these acts of violence against an innocent child. Rubino perpetuates the pro-abortion narrative that the fetus is not a baby. She said that she sometimes shows women their dead baby upon request and shows them that it’s not really a baby because he is still developing and just a sac. Not only is this biologically unsound, but it is deceitful to tell this to the mother of the dead child to try to “reassure” her of this decision.
Toward the end of the video, Rubino describes how she has a much easier time performing abortions in Virginia than at her previous facility in Texas. Rubino brags, “In Virginia, if you ask me for an abortion, I can give you one in one hour, like same day. In Texas, I wasn’t allowed to give the pill after 10 weeks . . . whereas it’s really safe to use really up to like, well probably throughout pregnancy but definitely up to 12 or 13 weeks” (emphasis added). (Note: On Rubino’s current facility’s website, it does say that abortion pills are “safe” up to 11 weeks gestation.) Lastly, Rubino admits that she was offered positions as an abortionist at another clinic that was “bad” because it was “not up to date, it was not clean.”
The current law in Virginia allows abortion up through 27 weeks and 6 days, with exceptions for the life of the mother and mental and physical health of the mother. This is one of the most extreme pro-abortion states in the country, though all abortion for any reason and at any stage is extreme, as it always intentionally murders an innocent preborn child. Additionally, Virginia’s pro-abortionists are trying to get the “Virginia Right to Reproductive Freedom Amendment” to go on the Virginia ballot in 2026, which would establish a “right” to unlimited abortion.
We need steadfast prayer, fasting, and action from all Virginians who believe in defending the sanctity of human life. Please join American Life League in prayer for the end to all abortion in Virginia and throughout the country and for the conversion of hearts and minds for all those who support, encourage, or who have had or commit abortions.
American Life League Applauds Life-Affirming Win for West Virginia’s Women and Children
American Life League declares a “win for women and children” in West Virginia after the US Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit dismissed a major mifepristone manufacturer’s attempt to strike down West Virginia’s protections for the preborn. In a 2-1 decision released on July 15, 2025, the court ruled that the FDA’s approval of the abortion pill drug does not override West Virginia law.
Katie Brown Xavios, American Life League’s national director, issued the following statement in response to the court’s action:
This summer’s two major life-affirming wins for women and their preborn children are with the states. As states seek to protect women from the deceptive and deadly practices of the abortion industry, they now have full reign to defund Planned Parenthood, and as a result of the 4th Circuit ruling against a major abortion pill manufacturer, states can now also ban the abortion pill. This is a very encouraging sign. If we cannot rely on our federal lawmakers to protect the preborn and their mothers, then we will encourage the states to do it!
Unfortunately, there remains the problem of the countless rogue abortion pill providers illegally shipping pills into all 50 states. This new ruling, however, points to an encouraging trend on the part of states willing to take a stand against these deadly pills.
Making America a true pro-life country, however, won’t happen in the halls of justice. It will only happen in hearts that are won over for the love of both preborn children and their mothers.

Video Replay: The Killing of Preborn Children Isn’t Declining. What Will the Pro-Life Movement Do?
In 2012, Planned Parenthood committed 327,000 abortions. That number dropped in 2016 to 321,000. It appeared that pro-life efforts to stigmatize Planned Parenthood as a scandalous, baby-harvesting organization were making progress. But year after year since 2016, the number of children killed before birth at the hands of Planned Parenthood has risen—350,000 in 2019 and now a record 400,000 in 2023.
Pill abortions have a lot to do with it. Mothers can open Planned Parenthood’s app, schedule a virtual visit, and place an order for abortion pills. These women will never encounter a sidewalk counselor or a pro-life advocate praying outside Planned Parenthood’s doors.
American Life League has been steadfast in its no-exceptions, no-compromise position. ALL’s president, Judie Brown, once said that if even one baby isn’t worth protecting, then none of them are worth protecting. If a baby conceived through violence doesn’t fall under an abortion ban’s protection, then what makes a baby conceived in love worth protecting?
The fact is that neither of these babies is different. When we treat some babies differently from others, we undermine the principle that all preborn children are worthy of protection. So what is the pro-life movement to do?
Simple. Follow American Life League’s principle of equal protection for the preborn. Personhood for the preborn. Human rights for the preborn.
