Planned Parenthood of Illinois’ Latest Partnership Proves Its Main Mission of Expanding Abortion

Planned Parenthood of Illinois announced this week that it is partnering with the “telemedicine” abortion pill service Hey Jane in the hopes of expanding abortion in Illinois.

In addition to providing contraceptives in the mail, Hey Jane primarily mails abortion pills after the woman completes an online intake form. Hey Jane prides itself in providing “safe, private abortion care-no clinic visit needed.” The abortion organization also boasts of its acceptance of private insurance plans, its inconspicuous packaging when mailing abortion pills, and the fact that it provides FDA-approved abortion pills in 20 states and Washington, DC. This blurb from its website shows that the organization will send abortion pills to anyone over 18, as long as they have a form of ID: “Hey Jane provides care, regardless of immigration status, and you can provide any form of ID that has your name, photo, and date of birth. We support care for all pregnant people, including all gender identities.”

According to a report in Northern Public Radio, this specific partnership allows Hey Jane to ship the deadly pills to Planned Parenthood facilities in Illinois so that women can pick them up at the counter if they don’t want them shipped to their home. Hey Jane also advertises that women who live outside of its approved states can connect with its partners (other abortion organizations and Planned Parenthood) for help with travel to a state that allows abortion.

What makes all this even more insane is that Illinois already has strong pro-abortion laws, permitting abortions until 24-weeks’ gestation and allowing abortion following 24 weeks for exceptions, including the life and physical and mental health of the mother. As American Life League pointed out in its recent abortion pill report, regardless of abortion laws in each state or whether abortion pills are approved by the FDA, these deadly pills are available via the mail to anyone in all 50 states through the loopholes of the mail service, shield laws, and current neglect by the respective US government agencies. This new partnership emphasizes that the abortion industry led by Planned Parenthood isn’t limited to providing ways for women to have their babies killed through abortion, but it is looking for even more ways for anyone to have the “convenience” to do so.

STOPP Data Supports DOGE Plan to Pull PP’s Government $$$

American Life League is applauding the plans that President-Elect Trump’s newly named Department of Government Efficiency has for Planned Parenthood.

Trump’s budget-belt tighteners, Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy, are targeting the abortion giant as part of plans to “take aim at the $500 billion plus in annual federal expenditures that are unauthorized by Congress.”

American Life League’s STOPP International 2023 Report on Planned Parenthood CEO Compensation details the salaries of the leaders of all the abortion vendor’s affiliates, along with those of the top-paid employees at the organization’s headquarters—Planned Parenthood Federation of America.

American Life League national director Katie Brown observed that Planned Parenthood, which received $670.4 million in taxpayer money last year, cumulatively paid its Planned Parenthood affiliate CEOs $16.8 million in 2020 (the latest year for which we have data), averaging more than $317,000. By contrast, Brown explained that compensation analyst Salary.com lists the average salary for CEOs of US nonprofits as $184,809.

This data by the Planned Parenthood watchdog shows that this abortion empire, classified by the Internal Revenue Service as not-for-profit, is paying its executives big bucks.

As Planned Parenthood executives pull in their six-figure salaries, Brown shared that those targeted with Planned Parenthood’s abortion services are typically the poorest. She cited the abortion vendor’s own data showing that 70 percent of those to whom they sell abortions have an annual household income of under $40,000.

“It’s time to curb Planned Parenthood’s rape of the taxpayers,” stated Brown. “Repeated cries to defund Planned Parenthood have gone unheeded. The continued unauthorized granting of taxpayer dollars to a business that systematically profits by selling abortions is unconscionable. We urge the new administration to shut down this cash cow that is financing the decimation of America’s future by sucking taxpayer dollars to line CEO pockets.”

Honoring the Blessed Mother: In this downloadable lesson, students learn the story of the Annunciation and Mary’s “yes” to God to become the mother of our Savior. As a pro-life people, we also turn to Our Lady for her help as we work to build a culture of life. Mary’s “yes”—her “fiat” to God—reinforces the pro-life message in many ways. ‘Twisted Scripture’: Orgs Pretending to Be Catholic Spread Heresy for the Holidays

All we want for Advent and Christmas is a joy-filled season free from humanism, heresy, and liturgical shenanigans. But we read X. It’s a wonderful town square where news and opinions can be digested quickly, allowing the user to pick and choose which stories interest them. Periodically, holiday grinches sneak into our timeline with distortions of Scripture.

The culprits? National Catholic Reporter and Catholics for Choice. Both of these organizations have been rebuked by bishops. Catholics for (a Free) Choice was condemned by Bishop Joseph Fiorenza of Galveston-Houston for claiming to be a Catholic organization while promoting the killing of preborn children. In 2013, Bishop Robert Finn warned the faithful that the stories published by the National Catholic Distorter Reporter are “problematic” and should not use “Catholic” in its title.

This week, we saw further evidence from these groups of theological malpractice. First we look at NCR

We don’t recall Jesus ever doing ANYTHING wrong . . . being that, you know, He’s God!

X’s Community Notes comes to the rescue:

Jesus Christ didn’t make any mistake by choosing the twelve apostles. The betrayal of Judas Iscariot was a fulfillment of Scripture, as Jesus Himself and the Scriptures said in John 13:18, John 17:12, Psalm 41:10, Matthew 26:24, Acts 1:16, John 6:70-71.

Catholics for Choice hates the Blessed Mother, even going so far as projecting abortion propaganda on the national shrine that bears her name in DC. Every December, Catholics for Choice celebrates Mary’s “choice.” Mary’s choice was to please God at every moment. C4C wants its followers to believe she merely made a choice to be pregnant.

The archangel Gabriel didn’t come bearing gifts, but a message. Mary welcomed it because she did everything according to God’s word. On the contrary, every abortion is a “no” to God, who authored that person in His image and likeness.

You can’t turn off comments at your particular judgment

The Catechism must be like Kryptonite to these people.

That would make a great sign.
