Week in Review – US Military Officer Fights Vaccine Mandate, Cites Use of Aborted Fetal Tissue; Instead of Valentines, PP Hands Out Condoms in El Paso, TX
In Georgia, an Air Force officer is fighting against Covid-19 vaccine mandates by the US military, citing the use of aborted fetal tissue in the development of the vaccines.
NBC News reported that an anonymous Air Force officer, who is Christian, was granted a victory from a federal judge in Georgia. The judge has reportedly temporarily blocked the Air Force from mandating that the officer receive a Covid-19 vaccine after the officer sought a religious exemption.
With help from the Thomas More Society, the officer filled a lawsuit against the military, citing that the mandate to receive Covid-19 vaccines, all of which were either developed or tested using aborted fetal tissue, violated her religious beliefs.
According to NBC News and the suit, the officer “sincerely believes that receiving a vaccine that was derived from or tested on aborted fetal tissue in its development would violate her conscience and is contrary to her faith.” The officer’s suit notes that “to inject her body with a ‘novel substance of unknown long-term effects’ would violate her belief that her ‘body is the temple of the Holy Spirit’.”
Stephen Crampton, from the Thomas More Society, a law firm known for taking on conservative and religious freedom cases such as David Daleiden, is quoted as saying, “This is a great victory for religious freedom.”
This is great news for those who oppose violations to religious freedom and for protection of the preborn from the horrors of abortion and fetal tissue experimentation.
In Last Week’s PLTW, we highlighted all the various ways Planned Parenthood and its cronies were using St. Valentine’s Day to rake in the cash. Well, late Friday afternoon, we learned of one more way PP was planning on sullying the name of St. Valentine.
On Monday February 14th, Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas stocked 15 “popular nightspots” in El Paso with hundreds of free condoms to promote “safe sex” on St. Valentine’s Day, with some of their proponents referring to February 14 as “National Condom Day.”
Also worth noting, PPOGT offered free “empowerment kits” on the 14th, which reportedly included “emergency contraception, an early detection pregnancy test and external condoms.” These were available at the PPOGT headquarters.PP seeks any opportunity to exploit women—even if it means cheapening a saint’s feast day by promoting sin and the devaluation of women and relationships.

Last week, we shared the press release that came out of President Biden’s comments regarding his pick for a new SCOTUS nominee. American Life League released a statement pointing out that because of Planned Parenthood, which Biden vehemently supports, 40% of the Black population has been aborted. Therefore, Biden’s SCOTUS pick might have been one of the victims. Last week, the statement was featured by Charisma News. This week, it was the source of a Life Site News article.

Each day’s entry begins with a Bible verse that discusses one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. We then offer a brief reflection of this verse. After that, we write a short biography of the saint of the day and explain how that saint used the gifts of the Holy Spirit to build a culture of life. We follow that up with suggestions for how you can use this example to build a culture of life in your own home or community. Finally, we provide a suggestion for a short activity that you can partake in to further your understanding or knowledge of Church history or teaching.
God’s greatest gift to us was Christ’s death and resurrection. This redemptive act was for you, for me, and for all of us so that we could spend eternity with Him.

Did you have a happy St. Valentine’s Day? You should have, if you stayed clear of Planned Parenthood’s valentine messages. Authentic love requires the giving of ourselves to others. Planned Parenthood’s perverted version is the opposite—the taking of other lives to better ourselves.
The deadliest non-profit in the country is run by Alexis McGill Johnson, and she wants to ruin St. Valentine’s Day.

The only ❤️s Planned Parenthood has ever sent are the ones it removes from the children it kills and sells to organ harvesters for university research. Big Abortion wants to normalize child sacrifice by disguising the bloodbath with terms like “reproductive freedom.” But there’s no peace for the developing preborn child until this country has been cured of a disease called Planned Parenthood.
