‘WSR’ Study Shows Spike in Abortion Pill Orders
A pro-abortion group called Aid Access, run by Dutch abortionist Rebecca Gomperts, says it has seen an increase in orders for abortion pills. Research published in the JAMA Internal Medicine journal states that women are stockpiling abortion pills because of the ever-changing legal stance on the pills here in the US.
According to the research, orders through the Aid Access website spiked from an average of 89 orders per day (from June 2022 through early April 2023) to more than 170 per day through the end of April 2023.
CNN reported on the Aid Access numbers stating the group has received more than 48,000 orders for the pills. Aid Access reports about 75 percent of women who placed orders cited the fact that they wanted to “ensure personal health and choice” or “prepare for possible abortion restrictions.”
“The spike in these numbers could be seen a few different ways,” says Katie Brown, director of ALL’s Marian Blue Wave. “To me, I think there is a lot of fear and evil behind the spike in abortion pill sales. Fear on behalf of women who have been lied to and told abortion pills are the answer versus the gift of having and raising a child. And evil on the side of abortionists like Rebecca Gomperts who have dedicated their career to murdering babies. And now murdering babies via mail.”
Brown continues, “As pro-lifers we need to commit to letting women know about the lifesaving options that exist. And as Christians, we need to pray without ceasing for an end to the evil of abortion.”
Even Over Christmas Break, the Charity Watchlist Continued to Boom
American Life League’s Charity Watchlist continues to receive massive attention both from the media and from donors looking to give to life-affirming charities.
Over the Christmas holiday, donors continued to request information about new charities. Two new requests include looking into Tunnel to Towers, which has been rated green, and Samaritan Purse, which is currently under research.
ALL’s research team continues to receive support from donors both old and new. Here is what a few have said:
“Thank you so much for this very important information. . . . I plan to make this list an integral part of my charity-giving decisions in the future!”
“The Charity Watchlist has been so helpful in determining where we choose to donate.”
“Thank you so much for your diligent research into Feed My Starving Children charity and for contacting them for their views on abortion.”
A big thank you to all who have used the list from the ALL team!
If a charity you are interested in is not already listed on the Charity Watchlist, please contact our office.

The Power of One: Nellie Gray and the March for Life What can one person do to end abortion? Nellie Gray and a group of dedicated pro-lifers knew they had to do something when the Roe v. Wade decision was handed down in 1973, so on the one-year anniversary they held the first March for Life. Nellie Gray dedicated the rest of her life to saving babies and fighting abortion. In 2022, the Dobbs decision did not outlaw abortion; it merely sent the decision to each state. So we still have an immense fight ahead of us if we want to make abortion unthinkable. This downloadable lesson for students in high school explores the history of the March for Life and teaches students how they can use their own talents and gifts to end abortion. This timely lesson will help you prepare for the March for Life this month—even if you cannot go in person. ORDER HERE

Are You Dedicated to Praying for Preborn Children?
Too often we hear about how rare it is for priests to preach about the evils of legalized, preborn child killing. We’re not saying that topics like abortion and contraception need be mentioned every month, but including preborn people within the discussion of loving one’s neighbor cannot be emphasized enough. According to Fr. Stephen Boyle of Westminster Cathedral, these children tend to be forgotten.
Fr. Boyle gives an important sermon that too few of us hear stateside. Are we praying EVERY DAY for mothers facing the decision to kill and for those who have already made the decision? When was the last time we prayed for these intentions? The next time we hear a request to pray for the victims of violence happening in other parts of the globe, let’s not forget the victims in our own cities.
