STOPP Celebrates 11 Planned Parenthood Closures in 2024; Makes Defunding PP Main Priority in 2025

In 2024, Planned Parenthood permanently closed 11 abortion facilities and temporarily closed one, ending the year with a victory for pro-lifers.

  • Florissant, Missouri: Closed
  • Joplin, Missouri: Closed
  • Louis, Missouri: Closed
  • Juneau, Alaska: Closed
  • Warminster, Pennsylvania: Closed
  • Woodbury, Minnesota: Closed
  • Seaford, Delaware: Closed
  • Amsterdam, New York: Closed
  • Cobbleskill, New York: Closed
  • Goshen, New York: Closed
  • Staten Island: New York: Closed
  • Hattiesburg, Mississippi: Temporarily Closed

Since STOPP International’s inception in the 1990s, STOPP groups have formed all over the country. STOPP’s founder, Jim Sedlak, traveled several times a year to teach grassroots pro-lifers his secret formula for getting Planned Parenthood out of communities. In 2023, STOPP named Ed Martin its new director, and he made taking down Planned Parenthood its number one goal. In 2024, ALL released its groundbreaking report on the abortion pill drug cartel, which is facilitated in part by Planned Parenthood. In the wake of this report, lawsuits were filed at the state and federal level against the deadly abortion pill regimen.

STOPP’s work can be tied directly to these closures. STOPP has been the nation’s premier fighter of Planned Parenthood for decades, and 2024 was no different.

STOPP’s prayer arm, the Marian Blue Wave, said half a million rosaries last year for the specific intention of shutting down Planned Parenthood.

In 2025, STOPP will focus on defunding Planned Parenthood at the federal level. The abortion giant receives nearly one billion in taxpayer funding. Imagine all the good one billion could do in the hands of people who want to save moms and babies and not exploit them.

Please join us in prayer for 2025; may the Lord lead ALL and STOPP to save more moms and babies than ever before!

STOPP’s latest report on Planned Parenthood CEO salary data was cited in an article by The Stream in reference to a case that could defund the abortion giant.

The Power of One: Nellie Gray and the March for Life: What can one person do to end abortion? Nellie Gray and a group of dedicated pro-lifers knew they had to do something when the Roe v. Wade decision was handed down in 1973, so on the one-year anniversary they held the first March for Life. Nellie Gray dedicated the rest of her life to saving babies and fighting abortion. Does IVF Violate Human Dignity? is a shareable brochure about in vitro fertilization. IVF helps infertile couples have biological children, so it is often praised as a pro-life and pro-family form of procreative technology. But IVF success stories hide a devastating reality. This technology murders millions of preborn babies, fractures marital unity, and turns children into objects that can be bought and created on demand. This brochure shares what happens to all the children procreated through IVF and the false hope it offers to suffering couples. Learn what the Church teaches about procreative technologies, as well as the licit fertility treatments Catholics can use instead. SHOP NOW

Abortion Is Deadly . . . And So Is In Vitro Fertilization

Recent posts on X (formerly Twitter) claim that the leading cause of death was abortion.

The source of the story comes from Worldometer, an online reference providing real-time global data on interesting topics, including world population, cars manufactured, and daily emails sent. However, the information is only as biased as the sources it draws from. In the case of abortion, its calculations are drawn from the pro-abortion organizations such as the World Health Organization and the Guttmacher Institute. These are guesses based on trends, not real-time abortions.

This brings us to the murders that too few of us in the pro-life movement consider. In vitro fertilization is responsible for tens of millions of deaths—on par with surgical and chemical abortion. In the United States alone, we calculated that nearly five million are happening. This number is far above the quarter-million preborn babies murdered in the US. To get a grasp of how this is happening, we suggest you revisit our video report below:
