Washington, D.C. (24 February 2009) – Rock for Life Ventura County will host limbless motivational speaker Nick Vujicic along with pro-life bands Kutless, Disciple, Stellar Kart and Esterlyn in Westlake Village, California, on Feb. 27 at 7 p.m.
“Ventura County will see and hear the truth," said Erik Whittington, director of American Life League’s Rock for Life. "That every person, no matter their age or disability, is a person who deserves love, respect and basic recognition of their rights. Young people are passionate about this, they're singing it, playing it, praying it – they want personhood NOW!”
Nick Vujicic from "Life Without Limbs," was born without arms or legs and travels around the world giving his testimony of God’s strength and hope through what many perceived as insurmountable obstacles.
“Rock for Life Ventura Country – through music and art will stand up and demand personhood for all human beings," Whittington said, "especially those under attack during their early stages of life, those near death and those who have disabilities.”
