Prayer vigil outside Planned Parenthood’s D.C. conference

American Life League will lead a pro-life prayer vigil outside of Planned Parenthood’s national conference at the Hilton Washington on Wednesday, April 13. This event is part of American Life League’s ongoing campaign that challenges openly pro-abortion Catholics to recant or cease claiming the Catholic faith. “The bottom line is, you can’t be Catholic and pro-abortion,” said Joe Starrs, director of ALL’s Crusade for the Defense of Our Catholic Church. “Individuals who work for abortion chains such as Planned Parenthood play a key role in the killing of preborn children, and that is always wrong.”

The peaceful prayer vigil is aimed at reaching pro-abortion Catholics who work for and support Planned Parenthood. In particular, the group of hopes to send the clear message that abortion and Catholicism don’t mix to the professed Catholic president and CEO of Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington, D.C.

“We are holding this prayer vigil to reiterate the truths about the Catholic faith that many of these abortion supporters claim as their own,” said Starrs. “It is utterly impossible to be in good standing with the Church while endorsing, supporting or participating in the killing of innocent children through abortion.”
