Pontifical Academy for Life Member to Speak in Raleigh

Founder of Nation’s Oldest Catholic Pro-Life Group Tackles Abuse of “Palliative Care” at 3rd Annual Life Conference

(Washington, D.C.) — American Life League is pleased to announce that its president and cofounder, Judie Brown, will be a featured speaker at the 2011 Life Conference on September 24, 2011, in Raleigh, North Carolina.

A pioneer with over 30 years in pro-life advocacy, Brown has received numerous pro-life awards including the prestigious Cardinal John J. O’Connor Unambiguously Pro-Life Award.  She has the rare distinction of being appointed twice by Pope John Paul II and again by Pope Benedict XVI to the Pontifical Academy for Life, serving a total of 15 years with the dicastery of the Roman Curia committed to the service of life. Brown was cited by Daily Catholic as one of the top 100 Catholics of the 20th Century.

The event will be held from 9:00am – 4:00pm at the North Raleigh Christian Academy, 7300 Perry Creek Road, in Raleigh. Conference information is available at prolifeeventsnc.org/.
