Planned Parenthood’s condom art contest

"Planned Parenthood continues to deluge the public with its array of over-sexed novelty items," said Jim Sedlak, vice president of American Life League. "Along with the infamous condom key chains, the abortion giant also offers condoms packaged like lollipops and now is sponsoring a condom art contest, just to name a few. It's scary to think what will be next."

Planned Parenthood of South Central Michigan's next program for teens is scheduled in Battle Creek on February 15. According to Planned Parenthood, "Project T.R.U.S.T. (Teaching Responsibility & Understanding of Sexuality & Teen Development) peer educators will be holding condom art workshops." The organization then goes on to encourage teenagers to "make a beautiful creation out of condoms, find out all the facts on using condoms correctly, and get a free gift!"

"What happened to teaching teens responsibility and morals at the same time?" asked Sedlak. "Planned Parenthood is only setting our children up to fail by assuming that they cannot control themselves and so they must have a condom ready at all times. I say let's give our young people a little more credit than that."

Sedlak said that Planned Parenthood aims to inundate youth with sex and drive a wedge between teenagers and their parents. "Planned Parenthood has zero tolerance and zero respect for parental rights," said Sedlak.

"That is exactly why they want to obtain access to children through schools and churches. "It is time to put a stop to Planned Parenthood's efforts to sexualize our children," said Sedlak. "We urge parents and concerned citizens across the country to ensure that Planned Parenthood is not allowed in our schools and churches."

American Life League is urging citizens to demand that their legislators cut the $265 million in annual government funding going to Planned Parenthood at the federal, state, and local levels. A petition campaign is under way at StopPlannedParenthoodTaxFunding.com.
