American Life League president Judie Brown calls on congressional committee to widen investigation
Washington, DC— Wednesday, September 9, at 10:00 a.m., the Judiciary Committee of the U.S. House of Representatives holds its first hearing on Planned Parenthood Exposed: Examining the Horrific Abortion Practices at the Nation’s Largest Abortion Provider. The hearing is prompted by the recent ongoing release of undercover videos showing Planned Parenthood’s involvement in illegal activities including the sale of baby body parts, altering abortion procedures to obtain “high quality” parts, taking parts of aborted babies without the mother’s consent, and possibly violating the Born-Alive Infants Protection Act by selling fully intact preborn baby bodies.
American Life League president, Judie Brown, issued the following statement on the eve of these congressional hearings:
The entire nation has been sickened by the content of these undercover videos. It is truly reprehensible that any organization in our country could be engaged in such callous and inhumane activities. Certainly this human butcher shop should be closed down immediately by law enforcement.
On behalf of our tens of thousands of supporters, in every state in the nation, American Life League calls on the Judiciary Committee to go beyond the current videos and look at all of the abortion practices at Planned Parenthood. There is ample evidence to show that, for decades, Planned Parenthood has failed to report the sexual abuse of minors by child predators. It has also been revealed that Planned Parenthood has been, by first-person accounts, willing to enable sex traffickers by providing abortion and other services to sex slaves without notifying authorities.
At this point in our nation we need the Judiciary Committee to stand up for what is right. Its challenge is to uphold the laws of the land and to hold Planned Parenthood Federation of America, and all of its affiliates, accountable for the harm it has done to women and the deadly fate it has delivered to thousands of preborn babies.
