ALL asks bishops to call on pro-abortion Catholics

American Life League will hold a media event today at 2:00 p.m. in front of the Fairmont Hotel in Chicago, the site of the United States Catholic Conference of Bishops' spring meeting. At the event, ALL will introduce a group of young adults who are walking 1,300 miles across the Great Lakes region spreading the pro-life message. American Life League will also unveil a new ad featuring the photo of a well-known pro-abortion Catholic senator from Chicago.

"It creates grave scandal when pro-abortion Catholic lawmakers promote the evil act of abortion," said Joseph Starrs, director of American Life League's Crusade for the Defense of Our Catholic Church, "so it's up to the bishops to provide instruction and correction. We hope this ad and the summer walks will succeed in offering encouragement to the bishops, as well as helping all Catholics understand the simple truth that you can't be Catholic and pro-abortion."

The full-page ad appears in today's edition of the Chicago-Sun Times.
