American Life League Joins Fathers All Over the World in Celebrating Life
Washington, DC (June 14, 2012) – In celebration of Father’s Day and all that it means to every American, Judie Brown, president of American Life League, issued the following statement:
American Life League celebrates Father’s Day by recognizing the role of fathers in the family, community, and church. American Life League applauds fathers for their leadership roles in preserving and celebrating life within the family. We also declare, with conviction, the absolute need for fathers in particular to serve God by helping to build a society that respects and protects individual innocent human beings from creation to death. This is the truth that is the foundation for our ability to celebrate this day for fathers today and into the future.
We encourage every father to recognize in word and in deed that, since we have all been created in the image and likeness of God, our Heavenly Father, we are eternal persons from the moment of our biological beginning. In 2012, fathers must, with renewed zeal, serve as instruments that bring together families, communities, and churches to ensure an end to the attacks on intrinsic human rights.
May God bless every father every day.
