As explained in the Week in Review section of this newsletter, we are very close to taking a huge amount of taxpayer money away from Planned Parenthood. Before I tell you what you can do to make that happen, let me explain why this is so important.
First, Planned Parenthood is the largest presenter of offensive sexuality education programs in the country. These programs are designed to involve teenagers in a sexual lifestyle to create customers for Planned Parenthood’s sex products. Planned Parenthood says it reaches 1,500,000 young people a year with its sex programs. That’s 4,000 impressionable young people who are corrupted by Planned Parenthood every day—4,000 of our children led into lives of sexual sin each day by Planned Parenthood. We must get PP defunded as soon as possible to save these children. One hundred years ago our Blessed Mother told the children of Fatima that “more souls go to hell due to sins of the flesh than for any other reason.” If it takes 30 days to remove funding from Planned Parenthood, the souls of 120,000 more of our children will be put in danger of spending eternity in hell.
Second, Planned Parenthood runs the largest abortion chain in the nation. It operates 48 percent of all the abortion facilities and kills over 320,000 babies in its own facilities each year through medical and surgical abortions. Every day that Planned Parenthood is open 888 more babies die. If it takes a month to end Planned Parenthood’s funding, that will be too late for 26,640 innocent babies.
The stakes in this battle are astronomical. We must defund Planned Parenthood now!
Contact your two US senators right away. You can find out who they are and talk to their congressional office with one phone call. Call the United States Capitol switchboard at (202) 224-3121. A switchboard operator will connect you directly with the Senate office you request. If you don’t know your senator’s name, just tell the operator which state you are from and she will give you the two names.
It is extremely important that you contact your senators—either in DC or at their district office—as soon as possible. Every day you delay will mean death for 888 children in the womb and a possible eternity in hell for 4,000 young people.
