In the growing euphoria over the elections and congressional actions, we must always remember that there are still over a million babies murdered via abortion every year in the United States. Over 2,900 babies a day die from surgical and medical abortions. An untold millions more die every year from hormonal contraceptives (e.g., the birth control pill, Depo-Provera, IUDs).
Many pro-life groups schedule activities on December 28, the Feast of the Holy Innocents. For example, there will be the Holy Innocents pro-life Mass and rosary in NYC with CFRs, Helpers of God’s Precious Infants, and Sisters of Life. The event will take place at The Church of the Holy Innocents at 128 West 37th Street, New York, New York, from 8:00am – 12:00pm.
In Houston, Texas, you can join the Helpers of God’s Precious Infants for the Feast of the Holy Innocents at the 12:10 pm Mass at Holy Rosary Catholic Church at 3617 Milam St., Houston, followed by rosary at Houston Women’s at 4820 San Jacinto.

In Sacramento, California, the Diocese of Sacramento is sponsoring a Holy Innocents rosary procession at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament at 1017 11th Street from 5:00pm – 7:00pm. The candlelight rosary procession and Mass will meet at 5:00 pm at the steps of the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament (11th & K) and pray for the sanctity of life as we walk to Our Lady of Guadalupe (7th & T) for concelebrated Mass at 6:00 pm Bring your family, sing with St. Mary’s choir, and walk to Mass praying the rosary. Candles will be provided. Carpools will shuttle people back to their cars.
This is just the beginning! All across America, December 28 is a day to remember the babies and pray for an end to abortion in our country.
