The idiom “the devil is in the details” fits like a glove when writing about those who detest human persons, especially the vulnerable, the preborn, and those in danger of imposed death. Whether the crime occurs during the prenatal period or when someone is afraid of death, any action that intentionally causes a person’s death is purely and simply the work of Satan himself.
I was reminded recently of the stealth that some employ when they decide that someone should die. For instance, in New York, the practice of assisted suicide has become legal, prompting Alex Schadenberg to write:
Assisted suicide laws give doctors (in some states, [also] physician assistants and nurses) the right in law to be directly involved with causing the death of their patients and they provide total legal coverage for the medical staff who are willing to participate, even when the death that they facilitated was questionable.
Assisted suicide is sold to the culture as a form of freedom, choice and autonomy whereas the assisted suicide law actually gives doctors, the right in law, to agree that a person’s life is not worth living and to prescribe lethal poison that will kill that person.
These are hard words to read, but they underscore the situation that exists when human beings place themselves in positions that allow them to choose when someone else should die. We have become a land of demigods parading around like the grim reaper in a white coat, stethoscope around his neck and a malicious spirit in his heart.
Some people and organizations, including many politicians and Planned Parenthood and its ilk, have dedicated their lives to such foul sport. A recent court case involving the state of California shines a new light on the depths to which the culture of death has sunk. The state is seeking 20 million dollars in penalties against Heartbeat International because of its promotion of the abortion pill reversal technique.
California’s attorney general Rob Bonta stated, “Every Californian deserves truthful, accurate information when making deeply personal healthcare decisions. . . . Our lawsuit alleges that Heartbeat International and RealOptions promoted APR despite knowing that there is no scientific evidence that shows it is effective or safe. After several weeks of testimony, we remain confident in the strength of our case and look forward to the court’s decision. We will continue holding accountable those who undermine reproductive freedom, including by spreading dangerous, baseless claims.”
But the truth, which has somehow escaped Bonta’s attention, is that “using the natural hormone progesterone, medical professionals have been able to save 64-68% of pregnancies through abortion pill reversal.” The reason this success rate is not higher is that some women wait too long to save their babies.
Dr. George Delgado, who pioneered the abortion pill reversal process, explained that the reversal regimen should be implemented prior to the administration of its second pill—the misoprostol. His book Abortion Pill Reversal: A Second Chance at Choice is written for the general population and certainly worthy of your time.
The devil’s minions tell us that abortion pill reversals are dangerous, and they market assisted suicide as an escape from pain. And of course, they also tell us that contraception and abortion are safe. All their favorite sops are nothing more than lies. The father of lies embraces these deceptions, denying that truth matters.
Well, the devil be damned!
While he manipulates and destroys truth among those who allow his deceitful ways, we cling to the Truth because we are certain that the truth will set us free.
