Those who scream at the top of their lungs in favor of a woman’s right to take the life of her own preborn child are people we refer to as rabid. This is because their thirst for abortion seems to have no end. Nancy Northup, the president and CEO of the Center for Reproductive Rights is one such person.
Earlier this year, Northup said: “The reversal of Roe v. Wade was the biggest setback for women’s rights in U.S. history. For the first time in 50 years, the right to make decisions about one’s health, life and future in connection with pregnancy is being denied.”
Like all rabid megaphone users, Northup is saying that a woman’s alleged right to kill her baby is as fundamental as the right to live, to work, and to look forward to a future unencumbered by the natural result of sexual relations, which can be the gift of pregnancy.
Northrup and her ilk are very supportive of every sort of abortion, and President Biden is their ally.
Biden recently joined the abortion pill manufacturer Danco in appealing “a lower court decision—that is on currently on hold—restricting access to mifepristone, one of two drugs commonly used in a medicated abortion.”
The reason they are doing this is allegedly because the Food and Drug Administration preference to the chemical abortion pill must not be challenged by those who are rabid in their support of killing people prior to birth.
The deadly appetite of abortion proponents knows no bounds. They have taken to the streets demanding that the laws in three states be reversed. Oklahoma, Idaho, and Tennessee are being targeted because state lawmakers have taken steps to regulate, not eliminate, the act of killing preborn children. You see, bloodlust is never satisfied among those who argue that any abortion is a good abortion.
And the rabid megaphone users have not stopped at abortion rights but are pursuing gender rights as well. In fact, the California legislature has recently passed a bill “requiring judges in cases of contested child custody to consider whether a parent has affirmed a child’s ‘gender identity’ or ‘gender expression.’” The article warns that “parents who do not support their child’s self-declared transgender identity may lose their parental rights and custody.”
This reminds us of the insightful article by Mary Rice Hasson entitled “The Genderbread Person.” In this excellent piece on the real problem with gender-bending, we read this:
Images like the genderbread person . . . or the gender elephant convey the false anthropology of gender ideology: the person is represented as fractured—a jumble of disconnected dimensions that need not align and may change. These dimensions include gender identity (an inner feeling), gender expression (external), sex assigned at birth (as if sex were an arbitrary label), and physical (sexual) or emotional (romantic) attraction. The image erroneously presents sex as a spectrum of female, “intersex,” and male. Biology, however, defines “sex” as the classification of an organism according to its reproductive role; human reproduction is binary, always requiring sperm (male) and an ovum (female). An intersex condition is actually a disorder of sexual development that occurs in utero, not a third sex.
This factual statement regarding the skewed anthropology of the culture of death flies in the face of Planned Parenthood’s statements on the transgender cult. As the infamous enemy of respect for the human person, PP and its allies offer gender-affirming hormone therapy as though it were nothing more than providing an aspirin to someone suffering from a headache. In their moral-free zone, anything goes, including denial that nature’s design is perfect.
This entire class of rabid megaphone users could do with a little common sense. Proverbs 19 says it best: “Many are the plans in the human heart, but the purpose of Yahweh—that stands firm.”
Dear rabid megaphone users, please note: You can’t beat God!
