Yesterday, I heard the most terrifying words come out of the mouth of a young woman who, on a video, was describing her chosen brand of contraception. She said by subjecting herself to this contraception she would avoid the “Homo sapiens parasite problem.”
How has our society come to the point that young women unashamedly refer to their own children as parasites?
Fr. Daniel McCaffrey, our keynote speaker at The Pill Kills Marriage seminar in Dallas last Saturday explains it so clearly: Satan enters into the hearts of people through unchaste living and contraception. “Satan won’t tell people not to go to Mass or blaspheme, but will come in through the back door by suggesting they become unchaste in their sexual life. Unchaste living and contraception are the satanic venom that destroys our ability to have a love for God and the things of God,” he said.
Father McCaffrey made reference to St. Jerome and St. Alphonsus Ligouri who said they thought that nine out of 10 people who go to hell lose their souls because of sins against chastity. Indeed, at Fatima, Our Lady told the little children when she showed them a vision of hell that more souls perish because of sins of the flesh than any other sin.
Father McCaffrey describes contraception as something that goes after the jugular vein of God. God is life and the giver of life. Contraception is a terrible sin against human dignity and a heinous offense against God who is life. To go after the very source of life is so evil that it is unspeakable.
On June 7, 2011, Planned Parenthood celebrated the satanic venom that moves women to describe their children as parasites by drawing attention to Planned Parenthood’s pivotal role in the decriminalization of contraception on June 7, 1965. In an article entitled “Celebrating Estelle,” Planned Parenthood head Cecile Richards extols “stiff-spined” PP employee Estelle Griswold’s deliberate attempt to get arrested so that she could challenge the constitutionality of laws forbidding the use of contraception. That eventually led to Griswold v. Connecticut, the Supreme Court decision that decriminalized the use of contraception.
True to form, Richards used the occasion to try to bolster the case for government funding of Planned Parenthood.
If there ever was a time to unite against Planned Parenthood, it is now. We must step up our efforts to totally and permanently defund Planned Parenthood. It is time for Planned Parenthood’s abuse and social engineering to become just a dark era in our nation’s history.
