Pro-death Senator Bill Frist (R-Tenn.) is proposing that the U.S. Senate wait until a "date certain" in 2006 to vote yes or no on the human embryonic stem cell research funding bill (HR 810/S 471) that would lift the ban on government funding for the deadly practice. This delay would provide pro-lifers from coast to coast with the opportunity to educate their senators and let them know that a vote for the bill is a vote for direct killing of innocent persons.
While it is true that some so-called pro-life senators have already turned their backs on human embryonic people, it is also true that education and pressure are frequently taken into account by these same individuals. We hope pro-lifers take advantage of this golden opportunity to help save the babies.
