Washington, D.C. (12 January 2010) – American Life League’s Rock for Life project will host a free concert with Kids in the Way, Friday, Jan. 22 at the Washington Court Hotel, in the Grand Ballroom.
The show will top American Life League’s Training and Activism Week events during the nation’s largest pro-life gathering.
With its last CD dropping on Sony BMG Records, Kids in the Way is an energetic live act that has four full major releases, countless radio singles and one of the hardest touring schedules around.
Kids in the Way played Rock for Life’s Cornerstone Stage in 2005 and 2006, bringing out one of the best concerts and attendances.
Opening for Kids in the Way will be post-grunge act, Hope at Hand, whose pro-life single “Decades of Night” appeared on the 2009 Rock for Life CD Compilation. Also opening will be a full-power set from Rock for Life support pop-punk band, Alakrity.
One of the most exciting acts of the night will be the catchy sounds of Skyhawk Drive, whose personhood song “Finest Mistake” appears on the 2010 Rock for Life Winter CD Compilation.
Rock for Life engages the culture through music, education and activism for the human rights of all born and preborn lives.
Large attendance expected featuring a free concert with some of the best upcoming and established acts out there. American Life League’s Training and Activism Week runs from Jan. 20-23. For more information see www.all.org/taw.
