We applaud Kansas Attorney General Phill Kline for doing all he can to acquire the abortion records of young girls who may well have been victims of criminal rape. The abortion mills are hopping mad because, they argue, these young girls have a "right to privacy." But Kline will argue – I know him – that the same young girls have a right to be protected from sexual predators.
In a world of integrity, Kline would not have to go to court to get access to abortion records so that the possibility of a criminal act causing the pregnancy can be ruled out. But we live in a world where killing preborn babies is a "private choice," and protecting the clients of the abortion mills from such things as repeated sexual attacks is inconsequential.
Let us hope Kline succeeds.
