British IVF clinics are seeing a phenomenon that I am sure Americans are seeing too. It seems that there are more and more career women who, being so busy with their "lives," amd having no time for conceiving the old fashioned way, simply want to order up a baby.
Children have become luxury commodities; marriage has become a hobby; instant pregnancy has become the goal.
As Emma Cannon, a British fertility program operator, says: "People want everything now. If they can't have a baby now, they want IVF. They think it's no different from putting your name down for a handbag."
