A perrenial favorite of the pro-abortion members of Congress, S.2593, the Freedom of Choice Act, has reared its ugly head again. Introduced on April 6, this bill enshrines a right to kill preborn babies under the guise of reprodcutive health.
One of the many troublesome statements in this ridiculous piece of Congressional legislation is, "The Roe v. Wade decision also expanded the opportunites for women to participate equally in society."
When equality is equated with the direct killing of an innocent child, something is sorely lacking in the thought process of the bill's sponsors: Senators Boxer, Feinstein, Murray, Mikulski, Lautenberg, Stabenow and Cantwell.
Oh yes, I am quite serious. For the bill also states that "federal protection of a woman's right to choose to prevent or terminate a pregnancy falls withint the affirmative power of Congress."
