Washington, D.C. (16 April 2010) – American Life League welcomed Queen of Angels Pro-Life Group out of Riverside, California, to its family of organizations dedicated to advancing the recognition of human personhood for all human beings – especially those most vulnerable human beings in the womb.
Queen of Angels was founded in 2007 to educate and inform the largely Hispanic community about the true nature of abortion and contraception. Its primary activities center around prayer vigils outside abortion centers, education about abortion and information on natural family planning.
“More and more pro-life organizations across the country are recognizing that true respect for human beings’ lives means uncompromising work for the rights and personhood of all,” said Leslie Tignor, American Life League’s Associate Program director. “We’re excited to partner with Queen of Angels Pro-Life Group to do the grassroots work that will end abortion and save lives – one woman at a time.”
The American Life League Associate Program is a network of pro-life groups dedicated to one simple concept — that all innocent human beings are to be protected and defended from the beginning of his or her biological development.
American Life League was cofounded in 1979 by Judie Brown. It is the largest grassroots Catholic pro-life organization in the United States and is committed to the protection of all innocent human beings from the moment of creation to death.
