Various articles on the topic of exactly what defines something as a weapon of war provide the general consensus that a weapon designed to kill people can be a weapon of war. According to that definition, the act of killing an innocent preborn human being makes the perpetrator and her instrument of choice weapons of war as well.
Regardless of where or how her baby dies, the expectant mother is involved in a criminal act, even if our nation’s laws justify it. This is so because God’s laws prohibit it without exception.
After all, dead is dead.
Why is this a concern? The honest answer is that whatever type of abortion is employed, the result is a dead human being. Preborn children are human beings; thus, they are persons.
I insist on this over and over again, as if nobody is listening, which apparently they are not. A recent congressional proposal succinctly makes the point for us. An article reporting on this congressional proposal, HR 7, entitled “No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion,” does not report the full truth about the bill. In fact, the headline suggests that the bill introduced by New Jersey congressman Chris Smith outlaws all taxpayer funding of abortion. But the bill tells a different story.
The exact language of the bill’s fourth paragraph is: “The bill’s restrictions regarding the use of federal funds do not apply in cases of rape, incest, or where a physical disorder, injury, or illness endangers a woman’s life unless an abortion is performed. The Hyde Amendment provides the same exceptions.”
Though this bill permits abortion and excuses those killings because “the Hyde Amendment provides the same exceptions,” the truth—which is as clear as the nose on your face—is that an exception is a death sentence for an innocent baby. And rather than remove the exceptions from all laws by congressional action, clearly the preferred route is to support them and deceive the public by claiming that permitting some babies to die is a pro-life position!
SBA Pro-Life America told LifeNews.com, “As a candidate, Lori Chavez-DeRemer decried taxpayer funding of abortion as ‘extreme’ and pledged to ‘always be on the side of life in Congress.’ Now Chavez-DeRemer is doing the opposite, blocking a bill that would permanently stop taxpayer funding of abortion across the federal government. This betrayal is exactly why so many voters—especially the GOP base—distrust politicians in Washington.”
And that distrust causes those self-defining as pro-life to make deadly decisions in legislation. Exceptions for some abortion have been a bone of contention within the pro-life community—the very movement founded to end abortion. Too many political pro-life operatives are cowed into doing the minimally acceptable to curtail the killing because the public, not to mention medical professionals making a buck off the killing, are allegedly pulling the strings.
The doctors suggest that pro-life Americans are weaponizing “people’s strong feelings about abortion, a subject about which people hold different and complex views.” But these are the same medical professionals doing the killing.
In fact, I will posit the following fact: The act of abortion is a weapon of war used by those waging the war on babies not yet born by claiming that they are doing a service to those babies’ mothers because, after all, it is legal.
The truth is that they are killing posterity by calling their war “freedom of choice.”
The weapon of war is this nation’s legally protected option to kill the preborn with abandon.
