Catherine was overjoyed at the news but extremely upset with the hospital because they had made a mistake that caused her a grief that only an expectant mother can possibly understand. She made some statements to the press that should provoke a searing examination of conscience on the part of all those who allege their support for a woman’s “right to choose.”
Catherine said:
What if I had taken the tablets they offered me? They could have left my baby severely disabled, or it could have died.
They could have aborted my baby while it was alive, how can the hospital make a mistake like that?
How many other people have taken the tablets or had an abortion when their baby was alive all the time?
Catherine will deliver her baby on the 28th of June and I am sure that her two born children, Chanelle and Kane will celebrate their sibling’s appearance with the type of joy that only a child can exude.
But we should be reflecting on the obvious contradiction in Catherine’s comments versus what we know is the case. Quite simply, every preborn baby who is aborted is someone who is very much alive prior to the abortion act and very dead when the abortion is completed. No abortion has ever been committed against a dead preborn child.
This Valentine’s Day let’s remember that every innocent child is a gift from God, an expression of His love, a miracle to be cherished.
