When Planned Parenthood closes its doors, babies live. That is the news from American Life League’s annual facilities report on Planned Parenthood. Of course, there were other findings, but none that compares with the miracle of birth that occurs when the demons of abortion stop practicing their deadly trade.
And yes, we realize that Planned Parenthood is not the only sales force committed to aborting babies, but it is one of the few receiving massive amounts of our tax dollars. In fact, it received $50 million in the $1.9 trillion COVID bailout bill even though PP’s alleged services have nothing to do with saving lives or jobs. Such facts compel us to increase our efforts to shut this organization down.
That brings me to the subject of other demons, especially those that possess individuals and drive them to defile the Eucharistic body of Christ, be they Satanists or public figures who parade up to the Communion rail without hesitation as they pander to Planned Parenthood and the extended abortion cartel. And yes, we mean it when we say that such actions are demonic and do expose the reality of demons lurking in every corner.
Let’s look at how the Catholic Church defines demon. According to the Catechism: “Satan or the devil and the other demons are fallen angels who have freely refused to serve God and His plan. Their choice against God is definitive. They try to associate man in their revolt against God.”
Monsignor Charles Pope may have given us the best description of how one of these demons takes over a human being when he wrote about his own experience as he celebrated Mass.
It happened at a time just after the host was consecrated and he was raising the chalice high:
Then, I heard another sound, this time an undeniable moan and then a shriek as someone cried out, “Leave me alone, Jesus! Why do you torture me?” Suddenly there was a scuffling noise and someone ran out with the groaning sound of having been injured. The back doors swung open and then closed. Then silence.
Realization – I could not turn to look for I was raising the Chalice high over my head. But I knew in an instant that some poor demon-tormented soul had encountered Christ in the Eucharist and could not endure His real presence displayed for all to see. And the words of Scripture occurred to me: Even Demons believe and tremble (James 2:19).
At the end of this article, Msgr. Pope’s message is clear: There is no doubt that Christ is truly present in the Eucharist, even though so many in our midst today deny it by their actions and their words.
That is why we bow before Christ and thank Him for the strength we have to defend His babies. We pray for all those babies preparing to be born who are not as blessed as the 55,875 who lived because nobody killed them by abortion.
We teach and live and witness to the truth that, just as Christ is truly present in the Eucharist, so too each child is truly present from his first cell forward. Every human being is part of the human family and equally deserving of her right to live, not die.
As we work each day to serve the Lord, we ask Him to drive out the demons that possess those who kill the babies, just as we ask Him to drive out the demons that possess those who disrespect Christ by receiving His body and blood as they lay waste to His babies.
It is an honor to work for Christ, to serve his babies, and to remind our fellow human beings that in Christ all things are possible, including the expulsion of demons. This is why we pray:
St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
