Television programming has been a cesspool for a long time. I can’t recall the last time I even tuned into any program on broadcast or cable television.
The latest piece of trash slated on ABC’s list of upcoming shows includes a sitcom entitled The Real O’Neals. The Hollywood Reporter describes the show as such: “Dan Savage’s semi-autobiographical revolves around a picture-perfect family turned upside down when the youngest son (Noah Galvin) comes out of the closet. What seems like the end of their idyllic life turns out to be the beginning of a bright new chapter when everyone stops pretending to be perfect and actually starts being real.”
Most of you may already know who and what Dan Savage is. He is one of the most crass and crude human beings who has ever outworn his welcome in the public sphere. Not that he was ever welcome by most of America to begin with, but since the media is so entrenched in the homosexual indoctrination of our young people, he inevitably has been given plenty of platforms from which to spew his hate.
The irony about Savage is that he is the person behind all of the NOH8 and “It Gets Better” anti-bullying propaganda, yet he’ll be the first one to dish out hate in copious amounts. Apparently it’s not hate if it’s criticism and insults directed against Christians—particularly Catholics.
Don’t buy into it folks. Whenever you see the terms “stop the bullying” or “anti-bully campaign,” know that what they really mean is “stop the bullying of homosexuals, but feel free to berate and bully straight Christians who don’t support homosexual lifestyles.”
It’s absolutely no surprise that ABC-TV is behind this Dan Savage sitcom. Major networks like ABC and Fox have long offered pro-homosexual television shows like Glee, the insipid Modern Family, and Soap in the late 1970s when Billy Crystal played a homosexual.
Just to add to the insanity, CBS is also piloting a television show entitled Doubt, about a “compassionate, transgender Ivy League-educated attorney.” Just what every family in America wants to sit down and watch, I’m sure.
TLC is also on the rainbow bandwagon with its transgender teen reality show about 14-year-old boy named Jazz Jennings who thinks he’s a girl. And every idiotic adult in his life is going right along with it. Now that they’re raking in the big TLC bucks, the more they’ll go along with whatever “Jazz” wants.
It’s interesting how Christian entrepreneurs and twin brothers David and Jason Benham had their HGTV reality show about flipping houses cancelled before it even aired one episode—all because the brothers spoke up in defense of traditional marriage between one man and one woman. On the other hand, network executives are bending over backward to cater to a minority of radical homosexuals by bringing Dan Savage’s filth into America’s living rooms. As if anyone needed yet another reason to never watch broadcast or pay television again, let Dan Savage be the straw that broke the camel’s back. Turn off the Savage gay propaganda before it ever starts.
OUR OWN JUDIE BROWN HAD THIS TO SAY ABOUT THE MATTER:
The idea that the vulgar, insulting, outrageous Dan Savage would rate consideration for a sitcom on ABC/Disney only confirms the obvious fact that, culturally, our nation is in a moral free fall. What other reason could there be for partnering with a man who has spent much of his adult life insulting God, His followers, and His Church? How low will society go before courageous Americans stand up and say enough? The time is now to raise our voices. Join us in opposing this most recent embrace of media bigotry that has no place in a civilized nation.
Join American Life League as part of a national effort that also includes several other prominent organizations like Media Research Center, the Family Research Council, and the American Family Association to pressure ABC/Disney to stop the production of this show before it even airs.
