Motherhood is one of the strongest things a woman can do to embrace her femininity. When a woman is pregnant, she naturally has protective motherly instincts. This is the major reason many women feel guilt, grief, and shame after an abortion because they suppressed their inner protective instinct to care for their child no matter the cost.
In a recent interview with Vogue magazine, singer Adele praised motherhood, claiming it gave her purpose. She stated: “When I became a parent, I felt like I was truly living. I had purpose, where before I didn’t.”
Not surprisingly, some pro-aborts were upset upon hearing that Adele finds purpose in motherhood. Motherhood began for Adele when she was 27 years old and discovered she was pregnant with a baby boy. She told Vogue that her son Angelo “makes me very proud of myself.” Adele has been praised by women all over the world because she takes tremendous time off from her successful singing career to be there for her son. According to Adele, “My main thing is Mum, then it’s me, then it’s work.”
Every pregnancy produces a unique human being and empowers a woman through motherhood. Motherhood can be a time to heal, comfort, and renew. Every child is a gift from God whose life is designed to be protected by his mother.
