In the April 3 edition of Meet the Press on NBC, Hillary Clinton said, “The unborn person doesn’t have constitutional rights. Now that doesn’t mean that we don’t do everything we possibly can in the vast majority of instances to, you know, help a mother who is carrying a child and wants to make sure that child will be healthy, to have appropriate medical support.”
I‘m going to do something here which will seem out of order: I am going to praise Hillary Clinton for her stand in defense of the humanity of the child in the womb. But, before you take that too far, I must retract that praise in favor of a more severe criticism. You see, while Hillary recognizes the humanity of the child, she now states unequivocally that the child who has not made the trip down the birth canal has no rights, and that the legal taking of this child’s life—literally ripping, poisoning, suctioning, and tearing this child to death—from creation to the moment of the completion of the birth process is something she will support and defend with abandon at every opportunity.
Hillary’s words spotlight with blinding accuracy the contradiction and denial that are at the core of every argument for decriminalized abortion. There is not one sane person I know of who would argue that homicide of the innocent is a justified act, let alone something which should be legal. Yet here we find the very principle of legal homicide embedded in the Democratic Party platform—one that is embraced and celebrated by its candidates, and contorted and twisted by abortion profiteers like Planned Parenthood and so-called human rights organizations like the National Organization for Women, NARAL Pro-Choice America, and others.
The contradiction stands. To any right-minded human being, it is a sign of our society’s current cultural downfall. Have we stooped so low as to allow the legalization of homicide even in spite of the overwhelming evidence that the child whose life is ripped away is every bit as human as you and I? Since 1973 in this country, we have.
It is time to end this holocaust of legal abortion homicide in this country. The blood of the infants screams for justice. This week, and every week, stand up in the face of our fallen culture for life. Do something to right this horrific reality. Twisted minds have justified this contradiction too long. It is time for a change. Let’s tear down the culture of death and build a culture of life.
