Coaching Us on Respect for Life and Truth
One special family teaches us that all life is precious and that every child should be treasured and his life fought for. This example of parental love will warm your heart.

The time to take action, to speak about the sacredness of life, to volunteer and show you care is now. There is never a need to wait until tomorrow. Go out and give voice to those who cannot speak for themselves.
Our culture has become one of violence violence toward women, toward children, and toward innocent preborn babies. This disregard for human life and the well-being of others is disturbing, and a trend we must right before our society falls deeper into the chasm of self-destruction.
Those who kill preborn babies may have no shame, but we who fight to give voice to these innocent children certainly do. We watch in horror as minute after minute, day after day, and week after week, babies are killed and discarded. The trail of blood is sickening and it’s a trail that we must work unceasingly to stop.
Families are precious; they are to be cherished and valued. Yet society tells us that it’s okay to divorce, to enter into same-sex unions, and to discard babies like trash. This sickening trend has to stop, or the consequences will be dire.
Cardinals and other clergy must lead by example, for when they do not, confusion reigns. If we do not see Church leaders standing up for Church doctrine, how can we have the strength to do so? Instead of a good example, these men only become fodder for those who either choose not to do as the Church teaches or who are ignorant about the teachings.
We must watch where we focus our energies. We must always be the voice of the preborn. And we can never allow compromise.

Abortion is a horrifying, tragic act that takes the life of a child who depended on his mother to care for him. Instead, his life is literally torn apart. A new PBS movie airing this holiday weekend attempts to humanize the monsters responsible for this slaughter. What can we do about this?
American Life League understands the importance of the family in society and the toxicity surrounding it today. To this end, we have begun a new campaign called Defend the Family. Today’s commentary talks more about this and explains how you can take part.
Suffering the loss of a child through miscarriage is a tragedy that evokes a great sadness. The direct killing of a child through abortion is also a tragedy. Knowing that some Planned Parenthoods now refer to an abortion as a “voluntary miscarriage” is sickening and further compounds the heartbreak of losing a child. Today’s commentary reminds us to be cautious with our words and to support those who have lost a child at any age.
In a time when life is not valued be it the preborn, the elderly, or the infirm we must strive to teach that all people are worthy of love, respect, honor, and care. Doctors may not always look out for the best interests of their patients, so when it comes to end-of-life care, we must protect ourselves and our loved ones by being educated and by asking questions.
