Obamacare: A Poor Deal for My Family

Ready or not, Obamacare is finally here. Polls show that most Americans remain highly skeptical of the law’s benefits. According to a new CNN/ORC International survey released October 1, less than one in five Americans say their families will be better off under the new healthcare law.

Through His commandments and the tenets of the Church, God lays out a plan for how we should live in order to attain eternal life. All we need to do is listen and then act. Yet, all too often, people don’t want to listen, and they definitely don’t want to act. They are then left to wonder what happened.

Does the Church need to adapt to modern times? Judging from the spate of headlines after Pope Francis’ “bombshell” interview, it rather seems that the modern world needs to adapt to the Church.
