The 2018 midterm elections are extremely critical for the pro-life movement. This year, one-third of the United States Senate and every seat in the House of Representatives will be elected.
With our victories in 2016, you can be absolutely sure that those who want to kill preborn babies will do all they can to get their people elected to these important positions. We must not let this happen.
When most people think of elections, they think of November. But November is too late. The candidates you will vote for in November are selected in primary elections much earlier in the year. It is in the primary elections that there is an opportunity to replace pro-abortion politicians or secure the position of those who support pro-life ideals.
As people in California know too well, without success in the primaries, the November election too often becomes a choice of this pro-abortion candidate or that pro-abortion candidate.
The first primary election will take place in Texas on March 6, then another in Illinois on March 20.
Twelve states have primaries in May, while another 15 have primaries in June. Thus, by the end of June, over half the states have already decided the choice of candidates you will have on the November ballot. You can find a list of the primary schedule for every state here.
The fact is, you only have a small window of time to influence who will be on the ballot in your state.
There is NOT much time left. That is why Planned Parenthood is active and rallying everyone now.
And that is why YOU must start your political activity NOW. There is no time to lose. Your political actions in the next few months will decide the fate of babies for years to come.
Do NOT sit this one out.
