Washington, DC—-Celebrate Life Magazine, the premier publication of American Life League, will be featuring the inspiring story of 12-time paralympic gold-medalist Jessica Long in its forthcoming July-August issue.
Judie Brown, president of American Life League, stated, “We are so excited to bring Jessica’s story to Celebrate Life Magazine’s readers! Jessica is a shining example of the truth that every human being’s life is precious, regardless of circumstances or disabilities. She is a ray of sunshine in the prevailing culture of darkness.”
The feature article details Jessica’s remarkable story of adoption and triumph over physical challenges and provides insight into the grit and determination she brings to her record-breaking swimming performances and her daily life.
“If you truly can’t care for the child and can’t give the child the life he or she deserves, I would give the child up for adoption, because there is going to be a family out there who will love that baby—-no matter what the diagnosis is,” Jessica said. “I know it can seem really discouraging, but in the end, I think that if you would abort the baby, you would definitely regret it. I think, for me, that I would rather know that the baby would have a better life than I could give him or her instead of just terminating him or her.”
