STOPP’s Latest Report Showcases Planned Parenthood’s Facility Landscape throughout 2025
By Katherine Van Dyke
Last week, STOPP released a follow-up report to its annual facilities report. Entitled Planned Parenthood Facilities Report Update: 2025 in Review, this report came about because of the record-breaking facility closures for the abortion giant throughout 2025, which Planned Parenthood insists is due to the temporary Medicaid defunding it has encountered under the Trump administration’s “One Big Beautiful Bill.”
STOPP investigated these facility closures and noticed the trend that the majority did not offer abortion directly through the pill regimen and/or surgically but provided other “services” instead, such as contraceptives (it is important to note that some forms of contraception do act as abortifacients), STI testing, etc. As mentioned in STOPP’s initial 2025 report, while Planned Parenthood’s physical locations are closing, it is continuing to commit abortions through its virtual centers, Direct App, and telehealth appointments.
Some of the highlights of this report include:
- As of 12/31/2025, Planned Parenthood saw 51 permanent closures, 3 temporary closures, and 7 openings/reopenings. These numbers were also reflected and confirmed in a recent Planned Parenthood fact sheet for 2025.
- An estimated 372 of the 488 physical facilities now offer abortions via surgical procedures and/or pills, representing 76% of the total network.
- At the end of 2025, Planned Parenthood operated 49 virtual centers, 25 of which offer the abortion pill. This does not account for abortion provided via its telehealth and Direct App.
While the harsh reality remains that Planned Parenthood is expanding its online presence to continue its murder of the preborn through abortion, every closure of its physical locations is still a hopeful sign for the faithful. In this spiritual battle between the good of life and the evil of murder, the prayerful witness of many outside these death clinics and those who commit to pray daily for the end of abortion are what will ultimately stop the ranks of Planned Parenthood. We must remember that “with God, all things are possible” (Matthew 19:26), and His truth will prevail.
STOPP invites you to review this report and to prayerfully consider what you can do to help us in the fight to stop Planned Parenthood for good. You can read this report update on our website.

California Pledges Another $90 Million to Help Planned Parenthood Kill Babies
By Emily Finlay
On February 11, California governor Gavin Newsom approved a $90 million “emergency” grant to Planned Parenthood and other “women’s health providers” in the state. California taxpayers have now subsidized PP’s abortion business to the tune of at least $235 million since October 2025.
Meanwhile, Republican politicians in the state say struggling rural hospitals are forced to seek state loans while Planned Parenthood rakes in grants for its child-killing work.
Newsom boasts that the grant ensures that residents can access PP’s “essential health services,” but the reality is that funding actual “health services” is far from the organization’s top priority. In October, PP of Orange and San Bernardino Counties closed its primary care program but kept the facilities open to commit abortions and offer “reproductive care services.” Our latest report, Planned Parenthood Facilities Report Update: 2025 in Review, found that the organization is doubling down on abortion, with 76% of its facilities now offering killing services.
Additionally, California is home to some of Planned Parenthood’s highest-paid affiliate CEOs. Sue Dunlap, CEO of PP Los Angeles, for example, was paid $875,942 in the 2022–2023 fiscal year. Six out of the 10 PP affiliates with the highest CEO salaries are located in California. All six of these executives made more than $600,000 that fiscal year.
And California isn’t the only state to give Planned Parenthood a taxpayer-funded bailout. Colorado, Connecticut, Hawai‘i, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, and Washington have all pledged state funds to subsidize the abortion business.
With the federal Medicaid defunding expiring in July and ever-increasing state funding filling its coffers, Planned Parenthood remains a clear threat to preborn babies. We must work and pray to topple this giant permanently!
