Florida Uses STOPP Research to Sue Planned Parenthood over Deceptive Marketing
Florida’s attorney general recently announced that the state is suing Planned Parenthood over “deceptive marketing” claims regarding the “safety” of the abortion pill.
The state is asking for damages of $350 million and for sanctions against the abortion giant.
Planned Parenthood has long claimed that mifepristone, the first medication in the abortion pill regimen, is safe. Its website even says, “Medication abortion is very safe. In fact, it’s safer than many other medicines like penicillin, Tylenol, and Viagra.” It also frequently claims that the abortion pill is “safer than Tylenol” on social media, in interviews, and through its marketing campaigns. But, as the lawsuit explains, this ridiculous statement has been debunked several times. It then outlined mifepristone’s risks and complications, which regularly send mothers to the emergency room and have resulted in several deaths.
Let us not forget that the abortion pill is also responsible for the deaths of millions of preborn babies.
Planned Parenthood’s lies, the state argues, are a deliberate attempt to trick women into purchasing the abortion pill from one of its facilities. Chemical abortions are easier and cheaper to provide, and according to the lawsuit, which cited STOPP’s research regarding the profitability of chemical abortions, this has made them a “cash cow” for Planned Parenthood. Florida pointed to PP’s $3.1 billion in assets and the exorbitant salaries given to its executives, also citing data from STOPP’s 2025 Report on Planned Parenthood CEO Compensation as evidence of the organization’s greed.
“It is vile that Planned Parenthood cares more about lining their pockets than providing women with factual information about the health risks of chemical abortion drugs,” James Uthmeier, Florida’s attorney general, said.
We applaud Uthmeier and the state of Florida for fighting to hold Planned Parenthood accountable for its lies and harm, and we pray that other states will have the courage to do the same.
This lawsuit and other efforts to shutdown and defund Planned Parenthood are saving lives! Every Planned Parenthood facility that shutters saves lives, and ALL and STOPP are incredibly grateful that our research can facilitate these victories.
American Life League’s Advent Booklets Blend Faith, Family, and Pro-Life Values for a Meaningful Christmas Preparation
As Advent begins November 30, American Life League’s Culture of Life Studies Program is launching three downloadable Advent booklets designed to help families deepen their spiritual preparation for Christmas while instilling pro-life values. These resources offer a fresh approach to the season, combining daily reflections, saintly inspiration, and family activities to foster a culture of life.
Unlike traditional Advent calendars, CLSP’s booklets—Waiting for Christ with Joyful Anticipation, The Mysteries of Advent, and Awaiting the Gift of Christ—integrate biblical reflections, stories of saints, and practical challenges to encourage families to live out their faith. Each booklet is tailored for all ages and meant for daily use, providing a structured yet accessible way to focus on the anticipation of Christ’s birth.
- Waiting for Christ with Joyful Anticipation pairs Bible verses with reflections on saints, offering family activities to promote joy and pro-life values.
- The Mysteries of Advent explores the 20 mysteries of the rosary, encouraging families to reflect on Jesus’ and Mary’s lives while embarking on challenges to build a culture of life.
- Awaiting the Gift of Christ connects Catechism teachings with saint biographies, guiding families to apply these lessons in their communities.
Susan Ciancio, CLSP’s director, emphasizes the booklets’ dual purpose: “These resources help families prepare their hearts for Christ while teaching children to value all human life. By weaving pro-life principles into Advent, we’re nurturing the next generation to live with love and respect for others.”
CLSP, a pre-K-12 pro-life education program, is part of American Life League’s mission to promote respect for life through education. The booklets are available for download at shop.all.org/clsp and offer families a meaningful way to align their Advent journey with faith-driven social values.

It’s That Time of Year to Ignore the Bells You Hear
Have you heard them? Those little bells on the sidewalk outside department stores?
It’s that time of year again when the Salvation Army sends out hordes of volunteers to collect donations for its charitable programs like food pantries, shelters, and recovery programs for people struggling with addiction. But is the Salvation Army worthy of our dime?
Our report on the Salvation Army details the nonprofit’s tolerance of contraception, transgenderism, and the murder of preborn children, and the organization best known for its red kettles and tiny bells shows no sign of changing its tune.
