Tucker Carlson Calls Abortion ‘Ritualistic Sacrifice’
Engaging with college students at a Turning Point USA event, conservative media personality Tucker Carlson called abortion out for exactly what it is: human sacrifice.
In a conversation with a pro-abortion young woman, Tucker said, “And people are so into [abortion] because it’s the same ritual every civilization, every civilization ever been studied has engaged in, which was human sacrifice.” When the student pushed back, Tucker called out the hypocrisy saying, “Abortion isn’t ritualistic? Are you joking? They had an abortion truck outside the Democratic Convention.”
Tucker admitted what abortion really is at its core—demonic blood sacrifice. In 2023, in an interview with Rolling Stone Magazine, American Life League executive vice president Hugh Brown spoke those same words when he told the reporter that abortion was a “demonic blood sacrifice” of children. Knowing the claim would draw gawks from pro-abortion supporters, the reporter mocked Hugh’s comments with the subheading, “Prayers to end ‘blood sacrifices’?”
But guess what? Hugh was right in 2023, and Tucker was right at the TPUSA event this week.
Abortion IS demonic. It IS ritualistic. It IS the sacrifice of innocent children. Today, children are sacrificed on the altar of convenience and selfishness rather than in an Incan temple.
If you don’t already do so, please pray for an end to abortion. We must pray for an end to the killing as hard as we work for it; the two are synonymous.
American Life League’s Marian Blue Wave program exists to serve the prayer arm of our mission to build a culture of life. The MBW simply asks Catholics to pray a weekly rosary specifically for an end to all types of abortion and for the permanent closure of Planned Parenthood.
Since its inception in 2019, more than 10,000 Catholics around the world have pledged to join, and more than 3.5 million rosaries have been said for the MBW intentions!

Colorado Catholics to Host Eucharistic Procession at State’s Largest Planned Parenthood
On Saturday, October 25, 2025, Catholics from across Northern Colorado, led by Archbishop Samuel J. Aquila, will converge on Planned Parenthood’s largest facility in the state to host a Eucharistic procession. They will carry the Blessed Sacrament around the facility in honor of Our Lord’s true presence and in an effort to reflect the value and dignity of all human life.
The event will begin at 10 a.m. at 7155 E. 38th Ave. and will conclude with Mass in the Marisol Health garden next to Our Lady of Fatima Parish in Lakewood.
A release on the event states, “Each year, the procession brings together hundreds of Catholics of all ages, united in the conviction that prayer is the most powerful response to the culture of death. With the Blessed Sacrament held high, participants walk in silence and song, entrusting mothers, fathers and unborn children to the mercy of Christ.”
This beautiful witness for life during the nationwide Respect Life Month also recognizes the work to be done in Colorado, which is one of the most pro-abortion states in the Union. Just last year, Colorado enshrined abortion into its state constitution.
The Denver Catholic explains:
“The Respect Life Office is filled with joy and anticipation for the upcoming Eucharistic Procession with Archbishop Aquila. This sacred time offers our community a beautiful opportunity to come together in witness and worship, united in our shared mission to be light in a darkened world,” said Jennifer Torres, community engagement coordinator for Respect Life Denver, a ministry of Catholic Charities. “As we walk with Christ truly present in the Eucharist, we are reminded that he calls us to be faithful, to carry hope and to boldly proclaim the dignity of every human life. We believe that a deepened devotion to the Eucharist has the power to transform hearts and ultimately renew a culture that too often chooses death over life. We invite all to come as they are, rest and pray with us.”
Join this joyful event and pray for both moms and babies!

A Person’s a Person, No Matter How Small: Inaccurate science leads to the dehumanizing of preborn babies. From the moment the sperm fertilizes the egg, a new human being is created and begins growing exponentially each day. Containing a scientifically accurate and descriptive illustration of a baby’s development, this brochure not only takes you on a five-week journey with the baby as you watch him grow, but it identifies the language used by some in the scientific community who strive to obfuscate the truth about when a human being’s life truly begins—a tactic that results in more abortions and more dead babies. ‘There’s No Human Right to Kill People, Dude!’; Tucker Carlson’s Takedown of Abortion Advocate Sparks Online Reaction
It doesn’t seem that long ago when topics like the personhood of the preborn child were barely talked about on the national stage. In fact, the topic of personhood once confused people. Here we are in 2025, and national speakers are standing before tens of thousands of college students describing the humanity of the preborn human being.
Tucker Carlson spoke at Indiana University on Tuesday and told one abortion supporter who rejected the idea that the preborn child is a person.
“Everyone knows it is! It’s just so dumb!” Carlson scoffed back.

Student:
Abortion isn’t ritualistic…
Tucker:
Are you joking? They had an abortion truck outside the Democratic National Convention! You have the right to murder your own kids?… https://t.co/nmZ5svtTSb pic.twitter.com/FWCp92uX2u
“A human being is being beheaded by a knife inside a woman.”
Dude, he’s so right.
Abortion is human sacrifice to the gods of convenience, selfishness, and greed.

It’s disgusting. I forget what my son and I were watching on tv one day (I raised my kids to hate abortion btw), I forget what was said on tv but my sons mouth dropped open and he said they’re babies that early?! I said honey, they’re babies the second the sperm and egg meet.

The DNC brought a mobile murder truck for their convention in Chicago.
— OurMAGADon (@OurMAGADon17) October 22, 2025
And no one ever mentioned it again.
That’s evidence of why abortion is a ritual for these people.
Why is abortion a “difficult” choice? Why?
— Mom x5 on the Right 🇺🇸 (@MHLH167) October 22, 2025
We all know why.
What other “human rights” are there that make people depressed after exercising that right?
It’s heartbreaking to see how far we’ve drifted from valuing life. You can hear the spiritual blindness in that student’s words to deny that a child in the womb is a person is to deny the very image of God.
— PEACEMAKER (@MamaBoom219) October 22, 2025
Tucker’s right, it’s dark. But it’s also deeply sad. Many of these young…
People were raised in a culture that calls death “choice” and deception “freedom.” They’ve been taught that convenience outweighs conscience, and that love is conditional on circumstance.
This isn’t just a political debate, it’s a spiritual battle for truth, compassion, and the sanctity of life. And while we must speak boldly, we also have to pray fervently. Only God can soften hearts that have been hardened by confusion and pain. “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I set you apart.” Jeremiah 1:5
Prayer for the Lost and the Unborn Lord, open the eyes of this generation to see life as You see it sacred, beautiful, and purposeful. Heal the hearts of those deceived into believing that ending life is empowerment. Have mercy on those who’ve made that choice and feel the silent grief within them. Raise up voices of truth and compassion who defend the innocent and offer love, not condemnation. May our nation repent and return to You, the Author of Life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Amen to that.
