American Life League’s Abortion Pill Report Underscores Efforts of Attorneys General Suing FDA
American Life League is applauding the attorneys general of Missouri, Idaho, and Kansas for their legal action to protect women and children from the broad, unregulated, and patently unsafe distribution of chemical abortion drugs, in a lawsuit against the federal Food and Drug Administration. The case, filed in October 2024, is a revised version of a previous lawsuit seeking to reverse a series of FDA actions that have allowed for hugely expanded distribution of mifepristone with little or no medical supervision or regulatory oversight.
“American Life League applauds the attorneys general of Missouri, Kansas, and Idaho for filing a suit against the FDA for its recklessness in allowing the deadly abortion pill regimen to be sent through the mail,” stated national director Katie Brown. “We are hopeful that this lawsuit will put a stop to the deadly abortion pill drug cartel, which illegally traffics these unregulated drugs across our border and into states with abortion restrictions. Thanks to the FDA, we have no idea how many women and babies have paid the ultimate price due to unfettered access to chemical abortion. The cases that we do know about are heartbreaking and only scratch the surface of the demonic attempt to make these pills so accessible. It is our hope and prayer that this suit will expose the abortion pill for what it is—a barbaric practice that takes an innocent life every single time.”
“American Life League’s devastating report on the criminal abortion pill cartel that is flooding America with illegal and deadly abortion pills has the attention of these state attorneys general,” added ALL vice president Hugh Brown. “Every state in America should sue the FDA, along with Planned Parenthood—the facilitator and referral agent—and hold them accountable. The indifference and lack of concern for this horrific criminal enterprise is mind boggling. We applaud the attorneys general of Missouri, Kansas, and Idaho, and we encourage every state attorney general to review our report, Beneath the Surface: Exposing the Abortion Pill Drug Cartel, and follow suit. Shut these murderers down.”
Planned Parenthood to Open Its Own Pharmacy
Planned Parenthood of Greater Ohio announced via social media that it would be opening a “first-of-its-kind” Rx Pharmacy in October 2024. The Planned Parenthood pharmacy is conveniently located next door to its facility in Akron, Ohio. Operating five days a week, this new extension of Planned Parenthood will only add to more chaos and confusion as it specifically focuses on providing gender-hormone drugs.
A closer look at PPGO’s website highlights that the pharmacy will offer “gender-affirming hormone therapy medications” among “all kinds of prescriptions.” In fact, hormone therapies are mentioned numerous times throughout the website, including in a “Frequently Asked Questions” section. When asked if they do provide these “therapies” at PPRx, the website states, “Yes, the PPRx Pharmacy is a welcoming space for medication therapy management and counseling services for gender-affirming hormone therapy (GAHT) patients.”
While the facility in Akron claims it does not provide abortion, it is a possibility that its pharmacy next door could begin filling prescriptions for the deadly abortion pills. It appeared that filling prescriptions for the abortion pill was an initiative at one point for the pharmacy, though it has since been taken down from its website. Instead, the pharmacy currently provides “abortion consultations” according to Planned Parenthood of Greater Ohio’s CEO, Erica Wilson-Domer. Just as every Planned Parenthood facility stands as a front for “healthcare,” this so-called pharmacy is just a front for “medicine,” as it prescribes hormone drugs for one to mutilate their own body.
Planned Parenthood never sleeps in its efforts to destroy human life and corrupt human dignity. Knowing this, we are reminded by the words of St. Peter: “Be sober and vigilant. Your opponent the devil is prowling around like a roaring lion looking for [someone] to devour.”
(This article has been revised with updated information regarding the pharmacy’s current involvement with abortion pills as of 11/21/24.)

Living the Golden Rule: Teaching kids to treat others as they would like to be treated is one of the earliest foundations of building a culture of life—where all people are respected and cherished. In this lesson, students will learn about Jesus’ teachings from the Sermon on the Mount, specifically the Golden Rule, where Jesus instructs us to “do to others as you would have them do to you.” This one-class lesson helps children see the importance of treating people with respect, of speaking kindly, and of doing acts of kindness for others. Living the Golden Rule reminds students that all people are created in the image and likeness of God and that all deserve respect and love. ORDER HERE

Put a Pro-Life Pumpkin on Your Porch: Part II
Last week we shared a video showing you how to carve your very own pro-life pumpkin. This week we searched Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) for pro-life jack-o’-lanterns from years past. We found several good ones. If you haven’t yet set your carving tools to your pumpkin, or if you need some inspiration, below are a few of our favorites:
