Recently an 18-year-old Texas man was charged with cruelty to animals for slamming kittens to the ground and kicking them toward a snarling pit bull. The pit bull tore the kittens apart.
The incident is described in the news report as "carnage" and the actions of the dog as "mauling." The report tells of the witnesses who yelled at the man to stop and of the excellent follow-up detectives did in getting to the root of the actions and their ability to track down the crime suspects.
During that same day one wonders how many babies were intentionally killed in abortion mills with nary a whisper from the people passing by.
