Washington, D.C. (15 July 2010) – American Life League is pleased to welcome the Dallas Coalition Against Planned Parenthood to its family of Associate groups dedicated to advancing the recognition of human personhood for all human beings – especially those most vulnerable human beings in the womb.
“The fight in Texas against the nation’s largest abortion chain has never been hotter and we’re so pleased to join forces with DCAPP in this crucial moment,” said Judie Brown, president of American Life League.
DCAPP was founded in 2005 after Jim Sedlak, vice president of American Life League, encouraged members of the Dallas pro-life community to consolidate efforts against Planned Parenthood.
The organization’s many activities include organizing protests and prayer vigils in front of Planned Parenthood and its fundraising events, conducting educational presentations in parishes and in pro-life groups and arranging screenings of the Planned Parenthood exposé “Maafa 21.”
DCAPP plans to combat misinformation on Planned Parenthood through its Speakers’ Bureau, through outreach to politicians and the patrons of businesses that financially support Planned Parenthood in the community and through direct activism in front of Planned Parenthood.
As a member of the ALL Associate Program, DCAPP joins over a hundred other organizations in over 40 states, Canada, Africa and the Philippines.
American Life League was cofounded in 1979 by Judie Brown. It is the largest grassroots Catholic pro-life organization in the United States and is committed to the protection of all innocent human beings from the moment of creation to death.
