MORNING-AFTER ABORTION PILL: On February 14, a coalition of 60 pro-abortion groups filed a petition with the FDA, asking that morning-after abortion pills be made available over the counter. The FDA has 180 days to respond to the petition.
In addition, the maker of one abortifacient morning-after pill has launched a series of clinical trials in an effort to convince the FDA to let pharmacists dispense the drug without a doctor’s prescription.
Therefore, pro-life groups and individuals are being urged to write the FDA and comment. The message is a simple one: Don’t do it! In fact, the FDA should be told to withdraw the pills because they do not prevent abortion; they ARE abortion.
